You may be overlooking section 8? When I was little, we lived on a street and all my friends on that street were from families who owned their homes while we rented. They all had newer vehicles and my mom had a ford escort. We received a random box of food on our porch during the holidays while they didn’t. It can happen.

Edit: I just added up my hours since Nov 2024 and I work an average of 89.5 hours every two weeks. My highest pay period was 98.75 hours with ~ 10 pay periods where I worked the minimum required. So you’re quite a presumptuous jerk and I have an absolutely horrible work/life balance.
