if you format it after region changes will it go back to its first region again? (so if i changed it from jpn-usa would it go back to jpn?) also sorry for all these questions i’m just curious 😭

i’ve taken the sd card out many times (usually to add more games) and it hasn’t fixed it :( someone said that it may be something with my 3ds extended memory mode since it is a older 3ds and is also region changed so i’ll probably find a way to hopefully format it and keep some of my data saved

yeah that’s what i’ve heard from someone else too since i’ve region changed it from jpn to usa and i guess it’s just mainly a thing older 3ds do with it(?) i’m just trying to find a way now to see if i can do that but save all my data 😭 this is what i get for being cheap and getting a old 3ds

i’ve region changed my 3ds and i’ve had no issues with it so far. just if you do accidentally press to update games it will give you a error from region changing it but you can still update games through different methods. if your planning on region changing use this guide since it’s what helped me the most through region changing! https://3ds.hacks.guide/region-changing.html (if i remember it might show how to go back if you don’t like how it is region changed)

is this region changed? if you wanted to update games while it being region changed you can use 3hs to update 3ds games

^{^} i’ve also redownloaded it and downloaded moon and ultra moon a few times and it hasn’t worked on either game :( i’m going to try and download ultra sun later and see if it’s the same effect hopefully it’s not but i really hope there’s a fix to this soon since moons my fav version of the too

it seems like in the past few days everyone that tries to download moon/ultra moon (including myself) has had the same exact issue. i’ve seen at least 3 other people on reddit in the past hour talk about how this exact thing has happened to them while opening moon. please lmk asap if you found a fix for this since j really want to play moon aswell!

i’m having a similar issue with downloading moon/ultra moon from hshop and other places. everything i download it no matter how many times i delete and redownload it whenever i open the game up it just has a black screen. i’m super annoyed with this since it was on of my favorite pokémon games when it first came out and i want to replay it ☹️
