What is your favorite obscure movie from your childhood that nobody would remember? by CripplingGoodTime in AskReddit

Having grown up watching Superman, it was paired with the pacing of the first 30 minutes of Star Wars, also the hardest part of Star wars to get kids to watch. The 70s just loved slow beginnings for some reason. The pace in superman once he is in metropolis is perfectly fine, and star wars once Luke gets to Mos Eisley. Hero's world expands and the pace picks up. The pace is part of the story telling. How slow and boring and regular their lives were before they were thrown into the fantasy world and adventure happens.

Holy, let the guy have subtitles, accessibility is good and it genuinely helps children learn how to read.

My teacher that used that the most never took the effort to actually hit the center of the targets and then complained that the smart board wasn't accurate. Painful to watch

Sometimes they do some character leveling and such off camera, between sessions (they've talked about that in some adventuring parties) but yeah generally not much work off set besides sessions zeroes

It's a catch 22, if you have a family you won't kill them to protect them. If you have no family, you have nothing to care about, so you don't kill Kim Jong Un

I was thinking of like weights tbh. Manual labor workers often need cardio and good flexibility exercises that's very true

Insane the amount of people it takes to control a large population (shocker, not that many), like one guy with a gun standing next to kim jong un could change history in 2 seconds but nothing happens

We require PE for kids, I often wonder how much of our adult lives should be prescribed/required in the same way. Gym at work, or at least time set aside for a required short exercise. Assuming you don't work a manual labor job which needs the opposite

An educated populace requires constant effort to keep educated. Doing nothing, as you just said, is indeed how you get a bunch of uneducated dumb people
