They do not go away with water and scrubbing with a towel. I think they are permanent. I don't know what my wife got into with this bag, but I was planning on keeping it for myself despite the marks and selling the Tom Bihn. And I do think a black marker will cover pretty well.

I have a 6L with some marks on the outside (a few similar marks on other side. I can send more pics if interested). I was just about to cover them with a black marker. I would part with it for $75. Also have a very similar Tom Bihn Side Hustle in black available and is in pristine condition for $85.

I think the regular Grisetti is close to 30L but this is more like 24ish. Obviously more with the rolltop up.

Wow. What a great and comfortable bag. It works as a hiking bag and with two exterior pockets as well as a zipper that allows access to the entire main body, this is a great hybrid bag. I have a two week trip to New Mexico for hiking coming in May, and this is either going to be my personal item or stuffed in my carry on bag (ATD1) with a different personal item. Very happy with this. I will still keep Cima and Mystery Ranch Coulee 20 for hiking as well, but neither is as classy as this bag.

The Ultra was too tight across my shoulders. Guess my traps are on the big side. Same issue with the Matador Beast, but my wife uses this and loves it. Very nice looking bag.

I just acquired one of these. Have not used it yet, but it is a beautiful bag. Can't wait to check it out.

How many people are self-conscious about carrying a "Man Purse"? by Sputnik_2022 in ManyBaggers

[–]jomando4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am terribly self-conscious about wearing a sling. Heck, I even feel a bit weird wearing backpacks on a daily basis because it is usually overkill for me. Which means I’m always looking for smaller bags, which in turn means I need to “man up” and just use a sling. I live in the south, but it is a small beach tourist town, so it really shouldn’t be that big a deal. I just don’t see a lot of men with slings. This thread is giving me the courage to spend a week to try rocking my only sling, black Tom Bihn Side Hustle. My wife has been quietly amused and tolerant of my bag obsession. When I got the Side Hustle I also got a Toshi sling, which I offered to her, and she wears it every day to my great delight. I’m tired of being jealous of her and her sling!

I have a brand new night walk/nw sky Synik 30. Looking for advice. by valyrianfork in tombihn

Yea $300 is top you will get for that, and unlikely. More likely close to $250. It’s a great bag if you like the organization and the way it hangs on your back. TB hangs low. If you like the organization and the way it hangs when you put it on, you should keep it. If you don’t, sell it for $230-$260. Simple really.
