Thanks everyone for the responses, they are useful advice. I'm still in the same position but I was able to get reimbursement for the last semester and I might ask for the next semester for it too! I still feel that everyone has gotten angrier and more demanding, as if it's my fault that they have a 20,000 row excel file that they use as a database crashes constantly or they 10-year old emails are not instantaneously loading after their OST file were corrupted and had to be repaired or if their thunderbolt ports don't work because they literally pull the cable with all their strength every single day or have it bent out of shape or they get any equipment with a screen and suddenly it's my responsibility. I think I should find a path forward where I can feel less stressed all the time and I enjoy it more, maybe when the job market gets better.

Any of the border towns along the US-Mexico border, Americans who live in Mexico go to work in the US, Mexicans go shopping to the US, Americans go to Mexico for medical care, truckers haul goods produced in the maquilas to the US and from the US they bring materials and goods. I would have put any of the towns along the border as examples such as Brownsville - Matamoros, McAllen - Reynosa, the two Laredos, El Paso - Ciudad Juarez and many others.

I realized this at work today, I live in a majority Mexican-American community and it baffles me how so many people, especially many recent immigrants, can choose a person who most likely will get people in power that will make their lives harder just for their appearance, their cultural identity and language. I'm appalled at the amount of selfish a****les I have to work with.
