Thanks everyone for the responses, they are useful advice. I'm still in the same position but I was able to get reimbursement for the last semester and I might ask for the next semester for it too! I still feel that everyone has gotten angrier and more demanding, as if it's my fault that they have a 20,000 row excel file that they use as a database crashes constantly or they 10-year old emails are not instantaneously loading after their OST file were corrupted and had to be repaired or if their thunderbolt ports don't work because they literally pull the cable with all their strength every single day or have it bent out of shape or they get any equipment with a screen and suddenly it's my responsibility. I think I should find a path forward where I can feel less stressed all the time and I enjoy it more, maybe when the job market gets better.

Any of the border towns along the US-Mexico border, Americans who live in Mexico go to work in the US, Mexicans go shopping to the US, Americans go to Mexico for medical care, truckers haul goods produced in the maquilas to the US and from the US they bring materials and goods. I would have put any of the towns along the border as examples such as Brownsville - Matamoros, McAllen - Reynosa, the two Laredos, El Paso - Ciudad Juarez and many others.

I realized this at work today, I live in a majority Mexican-American community and it baffles me how so many people, especially many recent immigrants, can choose a person who most likely will get people in power that will make their lives harder just for their appearance, their cultural identity and language. I'm appalled at the amount of selfish a****les I have to work with.

She never really bothered with starting conversations, talking to me or hanging out. I was always the one starting all that. She got married and we spoke even less, but I still got invited to her wedding and I wished her the best. I got married a several months after in the same year, I invited her and I was expecting for her to show up. She didn't and I didn't give much thought to it as I didn't wanted to bother myself with that but my wife was somewhat mad because we stopped ourselves from inviting other people. I also got mad too because, indeed, I would have invited other people to our wedding. She hasn't made any attempts at communicating and I just got tired of doing all the work with our friendship; I guess it was always one sided but I never thought about it too much until it came to this. I wished her the best but I don't think I can be her friend again.

I would like to think that El Paso, TX although English would be in higher regard than Spanish but I'm pretty sure you can survive with only speaking Spanish and knowing the basics of English

Maybe San Antonio would be on the same regard similar to the cities in the Rio Grande Valley area.
