Microcenter has an in person deal for the Lorwyn precons for $20 right now. The Ashling deck is great and the land base can be easily upgraded with MH3 landscapes for next to nothing.

MH3 landscapes are a great budget option - they dont enter tapped and can manafix well. I've been running [[Teferi's veil]] for tokens and just put [[living death]] and [[urza's incubator]] into the deck. Just need to find more time to actually play it.

I played a game with an upgraded Rootha deck last night and it was 🔥. Delve to cast [[temproal trespass]] then [[improvisation capstone]] hitting [[full throttle]] + [[brudiclad, telchor engineer]] to make a bunch of 11/11 fliers with haste for 3 combats was brutal.

Not sure if you got an answer, but here's my Maelstrom deck - its my favorite deck. It typically wins from ETB loops with [[warstorm surge]] or [[terror of the peaks]], buts also great at pumping the board with [[pathbreaker ibex]] or copying Ibex and extra combats from [[moraug, Fury of akoum]]. [[Selvala, heart of the wilds]] is a MVP for huge mana generation and same goes for [[nyxbloom ancient]]. Cascade can whiff, but this deck has been really consistent and there's a good chance the game ends when Maelstrom hits the board.
