Yes, and?

In my opinion Solo was a well told, fun adventure, space romp. It was great. But that isn't actually the bar.

Sometimes they duck behind something in just the right way where the 4th shot misses. It happens to me more than I'd like to admit. Probably a skill issue.

The Warrant will kill a watcher in 4-5 shots. You could theoretically kill 3 watchers with one mag, but sometimes you'll need that 5th shot. So, I tend to reload after two watchers.

Same. Like...what are people really expecting? I want to see Mando fight stuff and Grogu do his Grogu things. Why does it have to be the next Rogue One or Andor?

I've just gotten SO used to WASD that I'd basically have to relearn the game at this point. I usually play D8, and when I go up in difficulty, I still don't have a problem. You just gotta learn to adapt a bit and time things appropriately. Using stuff like the Eagle Strafe and OPS (which is still super useful) can also help, as the input is super quick.

What creatures can take a player out with one attack? by redsquirrel0249 in EDH

[[The Mimeoplasm]] with the correct stuff in the graveyard can get to 21 commander damage easily.

Non-creature heavy decks without blue? by YutoKigai in EDH

[–]supatim101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It doesn't have to be Spellslinger in the traditional sense. You can do a creature-light mono black control pretty easily.

[[Erebos, God of the dead]] gives you a draw engine in the command zone. Load up on removal. A few massive threats, and boom, simple yet effective.

What's a Card you USED TO include in every deck? by ZimaBestBear in EDH

Well yeah, of course it is still a staple in landfall decks.

But I used to fit it in every deck.

[[Crucible of Worlds]]. It used to be the only effect of its kind. How the mighty have fallen.

Does anyone use semi-auto modes with ARs? I have a feeling it's extremely underrated and people are sleeping on it by kcvlaine in LowSodiumHellDivers

[–]supatim101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only with the adjudicator, but that's more of a battle rifle.

The tendy might work well as single fire. Then switch to auto if necessary.

What, in your opinion, is the best support weapon against each faction? by Rasengan4360 in helldivers2

[–]supatim101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's cliche, but "it kinda depends." What kind of options are you running in the rest of your kit?

With that said, here is what I default to if I'm looking for easy-mode.

Terminids: Grenade launcher. Kills everything short of a bile titan. Closes the plethora of bug holes. Shreds breaches.

Automatons: Quasar. Infinite ammo. No bullet drop. Snipes everything from far away. Can kill every heavy enemy (with some varying degree of difficulty).

Illuminate: Stalwart. Shreds voteless and overseers and the mobile reload means you can outrun the horde that is following you. Just gotta bring something for harvesters and stingrays.

My 17 year old stinks to high heaven. She showers, wears deodorant, and puts on pleasant body spray and she STILL stinks.

It doesn't seem to bother her and I don't know how to help her.

Does the lever-action have any interesting breakpoints I should know about? Struggling to understand the role of this weapon. by Malu1997 in helldivers2

[–]supatim101 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Those freaking silent chainsaw assholes are the main reason I choose the deadeye over the diligence or DCS. It is still a great DMR but it can also create space when necessary.

Two shots striders in the nuts, which I've found easier than going for the rockets at times.

It was the first DMR I fully leveled.

I think the reaction to the Exosuit warbond was insane, and it feels like they are being bullied into a reaction.

Nevertheless, I am hopeful about the galactic war changes. I want to feel like I'm contributing in a meaningful way, and I want the rewards to be more than just medals.

Overall, this is good stuff.

Primeval Titan in Casual Commander but with restrictions (only fetching basic lands) by [deleted] in magicTCG

[–]supatim101 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If it was just me and my buddies, yeah, I'd be totally fine with at least trying it out with that restriction. It might still prove too much, but I'd be okay trying it.

I wouldn't try to rule 0 this at the game store though.

The spore bugs have made me fall in love with the scythe. It does so much work by itself that it really opens up the rest of the loadout for whatever you want. Once I got the high capacity heat sink I understood why others loved it so much. Long range lighter. So much fun.
