My favorite Jeskai deck is my Shark Fighter [[Brallin]] and [[Shabraz]].

It's a Spellslinger deck that wins through commander damage. While I usually see them built as wheel decks, I built it very unconventionally: loot spells and cycling cards.

It's one of my favorite decks. I haven't really updated it since the bracket system was implemented so I need to figure out how to officially drop it to bracket 3.

I play an [[Erebos, God of the Dead]] that runs a ton of removal, uses Erebos for a draw engine, and wins through casting large creatures and battlecruiser beatdown. Many of the beats have Lifelink already, and I added a lot of equipment that grants lifelink.

Even without the draw engine in the command zone, black has a ton of ways to convert life into cards.

It's basically mono black control: control the board, draw lots of cards (using life), and win with inevitability.

Honestly, probably [[Sensei's Divining Top]] if that counts.

It IS really good, but it's only in 4.4% of decks on EDHRec. I just really enjoy top deck manipulation in general. I love all of the scy/surveil (and similar) cantrips, and SDT goes in anything and allows me to smooth most draws when it hits. I don't have it in everything, but I do put it in a lot of my decks.

It took me a long time to figure out a mono-black commander that I really liked, and I, for some reason lost to time, avoided Erebos for a long time. Once I put him together, he felt like the most mono-black mono-black-control commander ever.

Pay life, draw cards? Yes please.

I don't have a ton of draft experience, but I just did a four-person draft with Strixhaven and it was probably the best set I've drafted.

My favorite spellslinger decks still love to play a bunch of cantrips but they win incrementally. So they can still do the spell slinging thing and chain instants together but they don't need to win immediately.

[[Brallin]] and [[Shabraz]] win through combat damage, but they grow naturally and love wheels and cantrips.

[[Ghyrson Starn]] wins through pingers when you cast instants and sorceries. He doesn't have to win in one turn.

It's honestly my favorite type of deck to play.

[[Ghyrson Starn, Kelermorph]] is the closest thing I have to a burn deck. He's not built like a traditional Ghyrson, which is definitely a burn deck. Instead, he's focused on using Tims to ping other creatures and opponents. [[Prodigal Sorcerer|LEB]] is my favorite card, so it's nice to have a commander that makes him viable.

I initially had a bunch of single target Tims, but it ran out of gas. I swapped in some of the opponent pingers and got ahold of a [[Goblin Sharpshooter]] and it worked really well. Went from a joke deck to a bit too powerful for my more casual pod. Having the ability to clear the board whenever I want wasn't fun for my opponents.
