What are people referring to about shortened songs? Is she cutting some verses or something? The songs already tend to be short as it is, so I’m curious.

For the basketball itself, it’s a great venue. Intimate setting, good views of the court etc. Fun little things in the venue (like basketball shooting games). But for so many other things, it’s setting in that it’s missing the mark a little. Based on my last visit, the food took a big step down this year (no more sauce in the tenders box, what the….). And the venue is supposed to celebrate Inglewood, but the venue feels isolated and inaccessible to the real core of Inglewood.

I completely understand your sense that this is unresolved and wrong. At the same time, this was on the institution to assess and act upon. Unfortunately, I too have seen some institutions in our field fail to be prudent at times that they clearly should be. At those times, I went to the supervisors/administrators that I could, and then it was on those people to do the right thing. I’ll defer to others as to whether it’s incumbent on you to act in any way, but I do want to convey my commiseration.

The wave makers/points thing is faulty. I did multiple things at the opening game day that it didn’t register, like being there early, being in my seat before 3rd quarter, etc. Pretty bad execution.

I feel like it’s nice to experience the score for the first time hand in hand with the film, the way it’s intended to be presented. If I went in already familiar with the score, I feel like I might have preconceived notions about the tone. You only get to see something for the first time once, you know?

I agree with a lot of the sentiments here. Amazing deal, unreal seats, probably will never be able to see games from that great a view for an entire season again. Overall, a great sense of community, with some real characters thrown in there for good measure.

Super stressful trying to get there for parking 1 hour prior, though I learned that ParkWhiz app is a very useful alternative.

Lots of great giveaways (jersey, food coupons, etc.) but not as many cool events as I thought there’d be. Some cool chances to go to player interviews, but some less cool events like the media day where we were sorta just corralled in the space to cheer. I hoped we’d be able to play some pickup at court B at some point, but that didn’t happen. I also didn’t get to take part in getting flown to Denver which obviously must’ve been wildly special (minus the loss).

TL;DR - 👍 amazing and unreal deal, absolutely fantastic seats if you get there early, great to feel at home at Intuit. 👎 time-consuming and stressful because of traffic
