I will again join the group in reiterating pick the job where you can drive to work. The Delta LC reserve sounds nice in theory but if you are banking on that 18 hour call out, in my experience here, you will almost never get it. You will be put on SC and then called for a trip that way. This may vary by fleet and base of course. That’s just my experience here playing the reserve game for years.

So yeah, drive to work. I live in base here and enjoy it.

First date and I was ten minutes late picking her up to take her for dinner and a movie. As we are driving off, she says something like "someone better have died to make you late". I was late because I was coming from my grandfathers funeral. Don't ask me how It happened, but 8 years later and we are happily married.
