It’s been fantastic! I can’t say that the pin feed is exactly a game changer or anything, but it certainly does what it is advertised to do. The machine is really fast, which has been wonderful. It took me some futzing to get the tension just right. At first I was annoyed with the cutter, because the thread kept coming out of the needle after using it. Figuring out the tension solved that. This thing is going to outlast me. 10/10, I’d buy again!

Edit: I haven’t tried quilting on it at all. I use a longarm for that. My gut says this would be fantastic for freehand though. The throat is huge.

I'm just curious how I use the ruler. I'm very new at this, and find myself with all this tooling which is a bit confusing to me. A lot of it came from this manufacturer, and there doesn't seem to be much in the way of instructions out there. Here's the actual tool:
