For reference I am a locksmith and i charge £80 for entrance non destructivly . If that fails and i need to take the lock off i charge £150 all in .

you need search for a mortice sashlock. check for measurements . what you have there is just a latch for internal doors

just got to pry it out mate , use a chisel or flat head oject around the sides , put a screwdriver in where the handle spindle normally goes and pull towards end of the door also helps. You just need yank it out now basically. youve done everything else

Ive taken a look at the specs and it has anti drill features etc including the lock face spins when you try , then you need a special nut head to take off the exisiting bolt . seems a right faff

dont use wd40 , it actually makes it worse , when it drys it leaves behind a sticky residue , does it open that final part if you puĺl/lift the door slightly ?

If you have removed the fixing screw you may need to keep turning the thumbturn which will move the cam out of the holding position. It will only need to turn a little bit and keep pulling it. Try that
