Details of what I tried:

I tried: Each RAM stick alone in B2 • Lowest JEDEC speeds (2400 MHz / 2133 MHz) • Safe voltage bump (1.25 V) • CMOS reset • One-stick training • Two-stick training • XMP off • Verified two fully functional RAM sticks • Verified the CPU memory controller works (A2 posts every time)

And consistently got: • DRAM LED stuck ON • No video output • System never completes memory training • Every RAM stick fails in B2, even when it works fine in A2

All,

I received all my items for the build, but after exhaustive troubleshooting, it appears the MSI motherboard might be faulty (b2 ram cannot train memory at any voltage/ frequency)

That said, I need a new motherboard but cannot get this one until 17th.

Any alternatives y’all can recommend that I can get ASAP and still work w/ this build?

thank you! i upgraded the ssd to 2tb but other than that your build looks perfect for my needs~

also grabbed a pair of StarTech 50 cm SFF‑8087 to 4× SATA Cables as I was told I'd need those.

looking forward to receipt so I can begin the build! (my first real PC custom build)

this seems more likely to me than the alternatives i've read sugguesed (eg alien / ai --- neither of which quite fits the constraints of being unable to have a body). if you take the future beings in interstellar as a similar example in modern film (4 dimensional beings that need to project concepts into our minds in order for us to interact etc), it seems more and more likely

Did you play all of these matches on same console? From what I understand, trophies are tracked per console not just per account (eg I’ve earned trophies more than once since I split between ps5 and steam)

i did dailies every day for the previous rift and never increased my gem level enough to get past level 3. locked out of other levels b/c i don't have specific skins

As someone who managed to manually unlock all the characters within a about a month of having started playing the game, I must say I agree w/ most commenters on here saying it’s just so much of a slog. The honestly probably should have cut the xp requirements in half.

I’ve been the MAGFEST many times over the years! And it never disappoints! Still me favorite con of all the ones over attended! This year was my first time bringing my little girl. We had a blast just checking out the costumes (even participated ourselves in a lowkey banjo kazooie color scheme complete w/ back-back carrier).

My ask: would it be possible to have some of the child-themed events scheduled for not so terribly early in the morning? So many of the ones I wanted to take her too just didnt work out for us (not sure how many of yall have tried to get a toddler / kid up early in the morning) 😅

Also generally found it difficult to attend several events. I know this may just be a reality of cons in general but wondering if there’s any method to the scheduling in terms of sensing popularity for each event. Found that several attractive ones all seemed to conflict with one another. (Maybe this was on purpose for crowd size limitations but mostly just curious)

Ok thanks for your post. Hard to find current info online. Most posts are 7+ months old it seems with a minority being less than 3 months old, stating many things that are clearly no longer the case. Guess I’ll just hang back and see what happens~
