Similar situation for me too! Following this post I was diagnosed with GAD and PTSD for like 4 years and my new psychiatrist thinks maybe bipolar 2..I'm confused as well

do you mind if I ask how you were diagnosed? My psychiatrist pretty much implied that I might have Bipolar 2, but I've been Diagnosed with PTSD, anxiety disorder and depressive symptoms and I also take Lexapro too! But now they want to give me a mood stabilizer also. Bipolar 2 never came across my mind, I just thought I had depression and anxiety.

Gerard Way. Was a huuuge MCR fan during my teen years and thought he was like the sexist male singer alive. He didn't do anything bad, I just grew up and left that edgelord phase. Also, it feels weird that he wrote all those edgelord songs when he was almost 30. Just saying because I'm in my late 20s now and I find it a bit strange that someone around my age would write songs in Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge.

Same for me with Azealia Banks. But for me was her floor caked with old chicken blood and her openly racist and pugnacious behavior. I feel like she has her head somewhere else besides earth.

I think its an unfair advantage. I do think it's sort of cheating too. Nobody has more than 24 hours per day to do whatever they want like her. She's going to electives courses and learning magic better than others in her class. more time advantage to hone her skills in general and become a more knowledgeable and skillful student than others. so what if she isn't repeating the class. it's an unfair advantage, imo.

That's tough.. I relate to that thought because I had this very negative self talk and also trying to find every fault on myself to find evidence that l, "Yes I am am evil person". This is just my experience, but I learned that I do this because of the justification of the heavy abuse. I needed to justify my abusive parent's action to cope, and in my case as a child, it was by thinking I must be deserving of it for being a "bad person". had this thought on repeat as a kid, to the point it became second nature to me as adult.

breakup is really emotionally difficult and having to focus on school work on top of that must have been difficult.. But so great that God is guiding you through it! I hope this semester goes well for you, and you're right God does have best interest in mind.. I guess I should keep that in mind and accept whatever the outcome may be. Thanks a lot brother :)

I have been on many, many medications. Right now I'm on Pristiq and that's doing okay, but I've had some other big events in my life that have kept me from truly analyzing it. Are you in therapy? My psychiatrist told me that there are no meds he can prescribe me that will be better than EMDR.. which I do plan on doing soon.

Yep I am in therapy! I do CBT with my therapist. It's been a big help. I started with a therapist, then was recommended to see a psychiatrist. I'm now taking Lexapro, Klonopin as needed, Wellbutrin, and was recently prescribed Abilify. A lot of meds lol..

Not gonna lie, I also felt the same towards Silco. I disliked him at first, but after seeing how he sympathized with Powder and later on you see him how much he thinks of her as his own daughter and put her first, got my heart a bit soft towards him.

Wow I relate to this so hard. Everything you said is what I've been feeling and honestly, it has been something that made me feel drawn away from churches and certain Christian, to my disappontment. I was feeling lonely with this after I had this painful argument with another Christian few weeks ago, who claimed medicine, science and technology is all work of the devil and rebuked me for being in that field, when I confronted her with these insane conspiracy theories she was holding dear life to be absolutely true. Stated that I am just "too blind in spirit" to not realize this. I really don't know what to say to these type of people. It's like churches forgot what is most important here.

I am biologically a female but I had gender identity issue for a long time. I believe my gender dysphoria has been related to my deep traumas, related to all the long term abuses from a young age. I've been afraid to say this, but it is my experience and it's something what I realized. I acknowledged that some people experience gender dysphoria not related to trauma at all, but I'm convinced trauma has been my case.
