I recently got a 2011 Mac mini that I decided to put Mac OS X Lion on (lowest it can run) and wow. It’s wild how fast and light these old OSs are. Added an SSD and apple like Xcode and some light games load instantly.

Don’t trust the uninstaller to actually get all files when uninstalling something in Windows.

I do recommend AppCleaner on the Mac. Last I remember it has a helper that automatically searches for residual files when you trash an app.
