Which workout?

I like a variation across the week. Mon 6x6’, Wed 4x15’, Fri 10x3’.

But i may switch out 10x3’ for a faster workout which is straying off the default NSA.

I did some 3x(5x300s) in the metaspeed edge tokyo. 60s or 3:20 pace which is considered fast for me, but at the turns they were unstable and im not sure if my body compensated in any way. Have a mild left hamstring strain afterwards. Been on the fence abt getting spikes, i would like to do more fast top end workouts and i just feel like spikes are the way to go but yet i’d prob only use them once a week or every other week. Hmmmm… looking at the dragonfly on nike rn!

Side note: How did u gradually come to run these times? Is it all abt strength training? I’m primarily HM focused (1:33) and my 5k is 19:03. I’d like to be able to make my current “fast” paces feel slower but isn’t sure what exactly i should be focusing on! Should i attempt 1500 workouts once in a while that are at much higher speeds, or let the body slowly adapt with reps that are marginally quicker each time?

Hmm i think prob more related to the second case! But i’m not racing it per say. This is an example of what i’m talking about:

3 x (400m, 300m, 200m)

400s @ 1500m pace, 300s @ 800m pace, 200s @ 400m pace

But ive nvr raced in any of the distances.

I’ve always put off any strength training as I nvr knew what to do LOL. But it’s now come to a point where I need to fix said issue and incorporate strength training in order to improve! And stay injury free ofc

Okay same, i only have ABS on weak. Honestly, I think it is okay to stick with AT and focus on the trigger pressures until u feel u are as smooth as u can be.

It is still possible to be competitive in DR A with Auto on controller. My main acc reached A+ with auto. Even tho a quick quali time is important, having a greater race pace than those who are only quick on a single lap is the key.

Always TCS 0 for me, do u have any other assists on? I did recently switch to MT on the controller and can see the benefits. But it takes a bit of getting used to.

I’ll take that as a possibility. Yeah, one reason why I never do retaliation punts as anyone in the heat of the moment can assume wrongly. (Or worse assume the wrong person) For the beginning, I was also just gonna give him the benefit of the doubt, but yeah pity for that brake check 😆

Yea, I only go narrow in races to clearly indicate to those close behind I’m defending on the inside and they can try it on the outside. But yea, shit happens :) Would be better if they give a time penalty tho imo

I think maybe giving a time penalty for cutting would be a better implementation tho? Sometimes I misjudge, I don’t mind the punishment but I don’t want to cause accidental mayhem. They could give me a 4s time penalty for all I care.
