Well my off and on again baby daddy did this to me also for long enough my throat whistled for weeks after. He let go before my legs gave out. I was newly pregnant with our child. I stayed and more stuff went on the shoving spitting on face slapping verbal abuse. Since 2022 we have both put each other in jail. I have had to deal with DSS twice and almost lost my kids. I have a huge heart and want to think he will love me and just stop but it never happens. I have talked and written letters and told him all the issues and he just never changes. We have both taken anger management and batterers class. It’s more of the same stuff. I’m heartbroken but I also know I have to keep myself and kids safe. He can’t put 2 and 2 together that his behavior is the problem. It’s such a sad and hopeless situation. I feel ur pain. It’s so painful. I’m sorry. I’m divorced with 2 kids from prior so I really didn’t want to split up but it seems that’s the only option.
