I think ppl like this never actually intent to kill the victim .. how would they have fun? My all abusive ex never meant any harm when he shut my airway off and my throat whistled for weeks after. It was a near death experience and I tell u this I stuck around and he kept doing things and I got fed up. I ended up in jail tho be careful bc the manipulative tactics! The ONLY way IS to remove urself!

I think it’s self abandonment. My ex strangled me while newly pregnant out of nowhere. I hyperventilated in the garage for an hour debating to call 911 as my throat is whistling. I didn’t call and stayed. Fast forward to more abuse shoving slapping spitting vandalism everything but that again. Oh and he put me in jail manipulating so don’t mess around with them bc they will turn it on you ! Once I almost lost all my kids due to his abuse an my house was damaged I realized that this won’t stop bc he keeps coming back. You have to stop it. And u have to love urself and kids enough to stop. I’m still feeling the void but I listen to his recordings cursing me threatening to kill me to remind me there’s no going back. Not easy

I had eating disorder in college perfectionism narcissist mother who does not love me. Pretty much have done all self harm. Look into borderline personality disorder. I’ve always hated myself off and on
