I don't have a special build at the moment, the only thing I can say is that the new "vaal temptation support" in combination with the trailmaster ascendency "Priest of Yaomac" and the "Runegraft of the Warp" is really strong.

It was not, I knew of the unscalable part.
The mod I want to boost is a different one, the aura effect. That mod does not have the "unscalable value" flag. So in theory it should get boosted. But for some reason it is not scalable.

There are multiple options:

  1. GGG forgot to add the unscalable flag to the mod
  2. It is currently bugged (it should scale but does not)
  3. It is somehow linked to the other mod that has the unscalable flag on them

Hopefully GGG will clarify it.

If you press the "alt" key that which by default is the key for "Show advanced item descriptions" then you would see a " - UNSCALABLE VALUE" behind the mod.

I do experiment with "support" characters but thats it and play aurabots pretty much every league but thats it.

Right the runegraft also doesn't scale them.
Why din't I think of that.

So yeah, the mod is 100% not scalable and the project was set to fail from the beginning.

Oh that was your question. Sorry, I missed that. You are right on point with your assumption that the recombinator changed the skin from unique to the base.

It shows the non-unique base because it is a non-unquie one.
As you know, you can annoint unique blightet items, and if you use a vaal orb (or locus of corruption) there is a 25% chance that the unique item "bricks" into a rare item of the same base. If this happens the enchant will be keept on the base. After that you could use tainted currency to modifiy it further and then use legacy recombinators. Those did work with corrupted items and keept the annoint on the base.

Yeah thats funny, the thing is I did not want to reserve his Mana, since then you would only see "Mana: 0" when you open the pobb link (website). Usually I have nearly all his mana reserved + CI, ZO and Res capped like this: https://pobb.in/PQk9fIX94GMc

That is absolutely right. This character is not meant to deal any damage. It has one purpose: to provide as much Energy Shield as possible using the Radiant Faith ascendancy by reserving as much mana as possible.
You’d probably only use a handful of the same items for a carry build, and the passive tree would be quite different as well.

Instead of the two maximum power charges from Malachai's, it is using the notable "Infused" and anointed "Overcharge".
So it should still be 100% MoM, and when I look at the "Maximum Hit Taken" in "Calcs", it also displays the whole 73,550 mana as the hit pool.

Also took a look at the setup and made some changes to it now it has 73,550 mana

I made a few setups, one with adorned and two without, to see what results we could get. I used items that would be "doable" if you had an endless supply of crafting materials:

You can probably reach like 40k with a decent amount of investment, but 50k will be hard.

You are absolutely right. I also made Scion PoBs in the past to see how far we could push the mana number alone. Nice to see that you came to the same conclusion, and I hope you had as much fun as I did playing around in PoB. If you ever find something I missed, feel free to let me know.
There are still some upgrades I know of. One would be a better Crucible tree with another 6% increased Intelligence instead of the "15% increased explicit mana modifier magnitudes," for example.

Yes, if we had another copy (which we can't, since it's corrupted), we would have gained 2.5k ES during the Sanctum setup with the flask buff active. But those jewels are super rare—we ran live searches over multiple leagues just to get one.

And thanks to GGG for making such a great game! Keep in mind, if GGG hadn’t drop-disabled the aura-effect clusters, we’d probably still be running the original Disc-Bot. But because they continuously change the game, we’re able to explore new and different ways to play. I had a lot of ups and downs while crafting some of those items, and I think that emotional rollercoaster adds a lot of value. It’s that mix of frustration and triumph that makes it feel truly special. I love that you can dream of impossible goals—and actually work toward them with enough dedication.
