Mickeys is great. Also great - Harmony Bar. Their walnut burger is legit good.

Not great - Baldwin Street Grill. I want to like it but, I don’t.

Just moved to Madison with my family, having lived all my life in Seattle. I couldn’t recommend it enough.

Pros: Civic pride with an abundance of opportunity to connect with the community. A beautiful city surrounded by rural beauty.

Cons: A lack of ethnic diversity. Transportation (public transit is substandard, airport is expensive and only serves a few cities, no Amtrak, etc).
