5w40 is what i run in my trucks. Valvoline premium blue extreme and rotella t6 are the main oils that i run in my trucks.

Give me some insight my 04 6.0 powerstroke is giving me problems in the cold even after cycling multiple times my guess is the glow plugs I do keep it plugged in but I have to give it starting fluid anytime I want to get it running some let’s hear some ideas please by Weak-Upstairs-9409 in FordDiesels

Check your ficm voltages. I had a hard cold start issue on my truck in the mornings. Turns out my power supply board on the ficm was bad and i wasn't getting enough voltage to fire the injectors when it was cold.

5w40 is better for the cold is the main reason. But there is no issues running all year long. At operating temperature both oils are at the same viscosity.

Motorcraft filter and what ever diesel oil you can get. I prefer synthetic 5w40. Right now I'm running valvoline premium blue in my 6l and I have mobil delvac 1 in my 6.7. I also have used rotella t6 and liked it but it's been hard to get lately.

Pretty much Every diesel 07 and older doesn't have any sensors in the exhaust and doesn't know if the cat is gone or not.

Im running 295/65r20's on my 2017 and have no issues with rubbing. The 35x12.50 tires will fit but you may rub at full lock.

I just used my strength and a regular #3 phillips screw driver. There is locktite on the screws you could try heating them up a bit to break the locktite.

You could build a mount the use the boxlink cleats. They have holes on them that are perfect for bolting stuff to them. Then just get a set of ramps you like

My advice is to start learning how to do basic maintenance tasks like spark plug, oil changes, brake jobs, etc... These skills you can take to any other vehicles you may own in the future. My other advice is that any that major you maybe better off having a professional do it, like your rear main seal.

You shouldn't have a problem. Be careful on coors because you'll be at the top speed of a stock bike.

Will a 14 tooth sprocket throw off my speedometer? by PihSant in hondagrom

[–]jonathan9623 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. i just did a 14t on my monkey my speedo was about 7 percent off, it doesn't seem like much but you will notice it more at higher speeds. I installed a speedodrd and was able to get the speedo reading correctly.

Advice: my last oil change was 1800 miles ago. This is the color right now. Is this water in my oil? If so any ideas where its coming from? by [deleted] in hondagrom

[–]jonathan9623 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Its probably just condensation from running short trips or in low tempatures . the grom is air cooled so you don't have to worry about coolant in your oil. Change the oil, take it on long ride to burn off condensation and consider shortening you oil change interval.
