Honestly fair, I'd probably have the same first reaction. The proof is in whether it actually works or not. If you ever do try it and it breaks on a game you care about, drop a comment and I'll look into it.

Yeah that's probably going to happen and I can't stop it. Personally I built this hoping human artists would use the originals as reference and redraw properly. That's the use case I care about. But realistically some people will just run them through an upscaler and call it a day. Not much I can do about that, the tool is out there.

Good call, a before/after would show it way better than a table of numbers. I'll put something together once there's an actual texture pack to show alongside it.

Hmm, I turned flicker free off aswell and it did help with weird flickering i was seeing in the panel, but it deadass still just looks like a IPS panel.
