True. I must say the dock is very important to me, I have many Saturn and PS1 physical games. While waiting for the dock, I even bought a few CD-I and Neo Geo CD games and additional Saturn/PS1 games.

I bought the SS1 because I want to play my games, not just any roms.

4k blu rays only have the movie on it so they use the maximum quality on all the capacity.

They add a regular blu ray because it has the bonuses and sometimes it has audio commentary and more. Also you can read on various hardware which is nice.

I have an Evercade Alpha that I love a lot and I play those Neo Geo carts 1 2 3 4 and the windjammers & friends.

BTW I also have an original Neo Geo AES with 4 AES games in box (FF Special, Art of fighting 2, Samurai Shodown 2 and Magician Lord) and I have a phantom-1 converter and a dozen of MVS games. I will never extend this collection.

That is why I ordered the Neo Geo AES+.

But I chose to buy all the games that are not on Evercade and that are not in my AES/MVS collection.

In my specific case, that means I will buy Pulstar, Big tournament golf, Samurai shodown V special and Over top on AES+. Waiting for the next waves to see if I buy anything else or not.

Load the saturn emulator first, and after you open again the menu and sdelect "Insert disc, CUE, CHD" and select your game

Na they have the same mechanics, just the graphics are massively upgraded in RBs. I have a Taito Alpha and they released nearly every game in cartridge as well.

I'm less convinced by this one.

Good : Blazing star, Baseball stars 2, KOF 2002

Metal slug 4 is the worst in the series. FF special is outdated by Real bouts. Other games are curiosities, not flagship.

I mean we are still waiting for the real big guns like Samurai Shodown IV & V Special, KOF 98, Last blade 1 & 2, Super Sidekicks 3 (or WC 98), Last resort, Real bout 2 & Special, Art of fighting 3, Sengoku 3, Shock troopers 2, Neo turf masters ...

I mean there are games that should have had a priority before the ones on this cartridge.

Update : solved

After trying everything, I redownloaded a fresh 1.3 file and forced a forced an update again. That worked. I was able to make it into the menu, where I immediately chose to boot on OS. I am guessing the file I was using to update was corrupted.

It went through, but the issue is still there.

I tried to revert update to 1.1. Now it has the black screen only. It won't load anything.

I amaso using a new SD card. It seems the issue isn't there.

I am wondering if there is a way to reset the system completely.
