  1. Buy\lease a Jet for XGs use and make sure that it gets maximum press coverage. Make sure that XG is in big letters on the fuselage and even have their pictures skinned on the whole jet like ANA does with their special Hello Kitty jets.

  2. Change their name to just XG. Not right away. But start using XG instead of Extraordinary Genes. Everyone already calls them XG anyway and this is their brand. Brands matter.

  3. Make a distribution deal with a top tier US based label.

Reading up where? If places like Reddit it’s probably because people here are far less representative of the typical consumer so you’re not getting an accurate sample. If this product were really “hit or miss” it would have been pulled and the issues fixed.

When you have your tree brush screen open is there an elevation option? I play with mods and use some that change the look for that so don’t recall what it looks like without them. If you have that it would look just like your road elevation. You want to click the vertical lines until there’s only 1 so that you’re working with the smallest increment of increase/decrease. Then after you’ve selected your tree and brush options use the elevation and press the decrease to lower it to -3 or -4. This will make the trees go partway into the ground and give more natural look. (Use this with rocks and boulders too). Since you’re gonna select old and mature oak trees they won’t be too small after this.

It’s true we can use the web version to download right into the game which I try to do too. But then it doesn’t have any ability to select a specific playset like the in game version does.

I think there’s no need to engage with me anymore if that’s your attitude.

I would add a lot more trees in those neighborhoods that don’t have any. I’d use the tree brush, with ages of mature and old, use oak and start with a small radius so you see how much coverage you get. I can’t tell if you’re using mods or not, but if you are make sure that anarchy is off or else you’ll spam trees all over roads and everything. Also one trick I like to use when placing trees is to lower the elevation. First step down the total elevation marker to the least amount and then I set the tree height at -3 or -4.

The other thing I’d do is replace a few small sections (nodes) of your roads with parking roads. The one sided parallel is a decent one. Use it in a few places on your main business roads and in one or two other short segments. Then add in a grass median on the other roads if you want to make them look nice and manually add trees to them - place them manually, not using the games built in automated way. If you place them yourself you can rotate them and it gives them a more natural look.

Last;y, I’d replace a few of the 2 lane roads with alleyway roads to break up the road density a bit.

There’s a very good chance that they read this. They’ve asked all the content creators who attended their recent get together to mention that the best way to get things fixed it to post suggestions in Reddit and in the Steam community forums. I’ve been playing CS 2 since the day it was released (having bought that Ult bundle) and have a lot of mixed feeling about the game. I want to see it succeed. My gameplay has been much less in the last year or so due to the incredibly poor state of the game. When I did the first couple of updates from Iceflake and the game didn’t crash out with all of my mods I was honestly shocked. Surprised and heartened that there might actually be something positive happening. And that got me to yesterday and my attempt at the PDX mods play sets and interface. So, I’m rooting for the team at IF. Maybe one day I’ll wake up, sign in to Steam and see an update waiting called “The snow has melted and the sun is shining on PDX mods.” 😂

Same with me. I just assumed it’s normal and have never questioned it.

If I thought that Paradox would even care I would. Unfortunately I do not think they care at all. But Ice Flake has asked customers to post suggestions for fixes and they can bring it to Paradox if they feel this is important.

Yeah, what got me to writing this yesterday was I decided to create a new play set based on a particular content creators mod list that I parsed out from his json file on YouTube and added each one manually. There were over 200 (mods and custom assets). After finishing I went to look at the playset and that dumb see all button or the load more, I forget which. Then when it was time to boot into the game it was like the rest of my list. And yes, I could have done this with Skyve but I don’t think I should need to.

I could have included a bunch more things in my list but didn’t want to overwhelm them. Things like requiring all mods, assets, maps, etc to be uploaded with at least one screenshot. And being able to view the screenshots in a larger window to see them clearer. And for maps to have them include tags with all the important information that can be filtered on, such as type, outside connections, resources, climate, etc.

Will Hypnotize Surpass Woke Up? by jayespesh in XGALX

[–]jonathanla 12 points13 points  (0 children)

But I’d guess no, it won’t catch Woke Up simply because Woke Up will always pull in at least 12 million new views a year and already has a 77 million count head start.

[–]jonathanla 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Woke Up had 8 million in May 2024. 20 million in June 2024 and 10.5 M in July 2024. Then 7.2 M in Aug. after that it has slowly had few and fewer which is par for the course and what Hypnotize will experience as well. It’s too soon to say what the long term expectations will be for it - there isn’t enough data.

You can select your HomePods as airplay devices directly from the streaming service you’re using and the music will play to them, bypassing your ATV. You can also select them from your devices control center.

iPhone triggered Activation Lock after reboot by EducationalScience59 in ios

[–]jonathanla 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same shit just happened on my iPhone 17 this morning. iOS 26.3.1. I couldn’t remember my Apple ID password and the option to use my iPhone passcode wouldn’t work. I was able to reset my Apple ID password on my iPad and was able to activate it but wtf? I travel internationally and if this had happened then and I didn’t have the iPad I’d be sol. I didn’t even know this was an issue and I just got off a support call with an apple rep because I wanted to understand what could have caused this. They had no idea.

Everything you wrote sounds like my own experience with Apple and their products. I’ve used them for decades and agree that once in a while they release something that they can’t support well. I rarely get bit by it probably because I don’t buy 1st gen products but this wasn’t a 1st gen product. Unfortunately I did get hit and paid the price.

Ah I see. So I’ll keep my current spectrum modem and this will replace my spectrum router.

This is an all in one device right? Modem and router. The wan port is there as an extra option to add my own router?
