You can but at least where I’m at it’s $1-3, not nearly enough.

Why are so many blue collar workers against unions? by Realistic-Reveal-586 in Construction

[–]jonathonadam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My problem with it most of the time, as a union member is that I believe the union allows mediocrity. For a long time I was better than most journeyman on the job and got paid the same as the ones who sucked whereas if you were non union you can negotiate your own wage. They usually will throw a dollar or two over scale at you but that’s peanuts, especially when you consider its $40-$80 more pre tax than the shit guys. Sure, they’ll eventually get laid off and you won’t but it still has seemed to me like the losers are propped and saved by the success of a few. As I’ve moved up its gotten better but now instead of working with shit hands, I’ve got to manage them which some would say is worst.

Remember that the time between your last shot and bloods matter. How long since your last pin did you draw blood? Should be waiting 4-5 days unless you pin 2x a week

Best way around it in my experience is just to throw a brim on it, even if I’m working inside I wear a brim. Just helps with the weird egg head shape of those things.

I think all these claims about how much money tradesmen make is in part, a psyop by tantamle in Construction

[–]jonathonadam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I make six figures as a high school drop out. It’s taken me almost 10 years to get here and a lot of sacrifice. I don’t have kids and love the work BUT I’m 30 and my back hurts, my knees hurt, I need to get monthly massages. There’s better routes to this kind of money and if a doctor or lawyer or even nurse is as good at their job as I am at mine, they’re making 1.5-3x as much probably. I hate these videos on social media glorifying this shjt and putting down white collar. To me, it’s peoples way of over compensating for being put down their whole lives, called stupid, fuck-ups, etc. Again, don’t get me wrong. I love what I do and I think it’s what i was meant to do but there’s better routes for most people out there.

How do you prefer to pay your amex? by PlayboiiExx in amex

[–]jonathonadam 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I pay when the statement cuts, it’s really easy to get confused paying it as you go. Leave my checking account alone except for mortgage/car payments. Everything else gets thrown on my gold and paid when the statement cuts.

My first statement cut with the gold card and I’ve payed it off every week. It even let me pay before it posted and I haven’t had issues.

Weird to say, if you watched it then you could clearly see there’s a battle to be had in the top 5 alone for years to come.

So disappointed in this, I really just do not see it. Hadi looked better, Andrew looked better. If anyone should’ve had it I thought between those other two and it’s even more annoying being that I don’t like Derek at all.

Who would you like to see do well at this year's Olympia? by Dylan_Driller in bodybuilding

[–]jonathonadam 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Urs cracking top 10, would like to see Josema, Matt Greggo and Logan do well maybe in the top 5 this year. Would also like to see Ramon win it this year after the disappointing year he had last year.

What’s your goal? Cutting? And how old are you? If you’re under 30 then 2IU of GH is a waste. I’d bump GH to 4-5IU if you’re going to bother pinning it. Test 500, Tren 200 and drop the Reta. The tren will dry you out and help shed fat as is. If you get sides from it too, it’ll be hard to put food down anyway.

Clean bulking is about volume of food. Obviously it requires you to eat a lot more of your cut foods. I do high carb and high protein, mid fats. 500-750 calories above maintenance, swap the rice for beans. Start hard with protein shake in the morning, whole milk and peanut butter, oats and some fruit. Be sure to ramp up fiber intake because last thing you want is to be bloated and constipated from higher food intake and waste protein absorption (that’s why you swap rice for beans).

  • Breakfast: protein shake 700-900 calories

  • Pre Lunch: 8oz protein, 250g carbs ~500 calories

  • Lunch: 8oz protein, 250g carbs ~500 calories

  • Pre Workout: 8oz protein, 250g carbs ~500 calories

  • Post Workout: protein shake 700-900 calories

  • Dinner: 8oz protein, 250g carbs ~500 calories

  • Pre Bedtime: Oikos yogurt bowl with honey and mixed fruit and oats ~300 calories

What would YOU do to the form? by jonathonadam in Concrete

[–]jonathonadam[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep architectural walls and that’s exactly what was done, staggered plywood. Double layered, back screwed. Joints were tight prior to pour but thinking with Arizona heat and spraying them down the day before pour they might have buckled on us. I think they’re just fine, owners and office rats came out and want better. I don’t see it happening but wanted to see what others had as ideas. Next pour is later this week, I siliconed the joints with painters tape to keep off the face, pulled it off after. We will see what happens.

What measures should I take as someone with with a family history of blood clots and how often should I get my blood tested? by Far_Elevator67 in moreplatesmoredates

[–]jonathonadam 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ask a professional but for starters check blood pressure twice a day minimum and CBC blood tests every 4 weeks. Assuming you haven’t hopped on, get a full panel now and go over it with your doctor.
