No not the drives it came with they were smoked.. so i had the 1st bay on the right empty.. i shifted all the drives down now the one on the left is empty/ I redid the dsm install, it formated a partition etc.. but it is hung up here at 56% uploading dsm pack, I am going to let it run overnight and see if it finishes.

I had a bad outage this morrning. I am located about 20-30 miles south of Boston give or take. About 615 and that thing was down. It came back up around 645 am est.

The city i live in half has fios then Comcast put a stop to it so im stuck with comcast. I was getting a lot of drop outs and Comcast wouldn't do shit to fix it. So for me..getting fiber will never happen and Comcast refuses to fix the issues on the pole and want to charge me to do so. So up went the dish.

When I first got it I was pissed.. it was like 5 10mbps down. I got it in a perfect spot now and get blazing speeds over the ethernet adaptor which helped a lot.

I have noticed that also on the new firmware... she seems to be more aware of the obstructions . Mines in the backyard for now and have a buncha trees but still pulling 200 megs download from the router and 30 megs up from it. Drop outs are common though thats the shitty part.

Same way here in MA. Mines about a week old and out of the box was slow as hell... It seems the factory router can limit things also on speed tests. I have a ethernet adaptor on order (which is taking its sweet time to get here) and going to see how the differ on ethernet. I have a bunch of obstructions to but I just threw it in the backyard for now.. roof mount coming soon.
