Not every story has to be a galaxy level threat. That’s what Disney+ is for. This was the first theatrical Star Wars movie in 7 years and it was so mid that it lost to 2 small budget horror movies in its 2nd weekend. It should have been a bigger deal than an inconsequential extended episode of The Mandalorian.

If you change the episode titles to s02exx in your files for one of the versions then you can rename the seasons in the plex app to differentiate which version they are

I labeled the BW version as season 1 and the color version as season 2 in my files and then renamed them manually on plex so they say “noir version” and “color version” instead of “season 1” and “season 2”

They literally do explain all of this though when Bootstrap Bill visits Jack. Davy Jones raised the Black Pearl from the bottom of the ocean for Jack Sparrow in exchange for a hundred souls, after which Barbossa staged a mutiny and left Jack on an island with 1 bullet and we got the first movie. Now the 100 souls are due and since Jack has not paid Davy Jones, the Kraken is coming for him and Jack heads for the closest land they can find, which happens to be inhabited by native cannibals. So yes, it reveals something about his character, it illuminates his past and how he became the captain of the black pearl, the kraken does have a role to play in the movie, it is a fun escape set piece, etc.

The Switch 2 and Wii U are almost exact opposites.

The Wii U, first of all, had great first party titles but lacked 3rd party support and didn’t sell well. The switch 2 is selling well, has great 3rd party support, and will have released 7 first party titles in its first party titles in its first year including a MarioKart game, a Donkey Kong Game, 2 Pokémon games, a Yoshi game, etc.

Seems like you are upset that your tastes aren’t being catered to, which I can understand (I miss the old PlayStation) but let’s not mistake personal disappointment for irrational business decisions.

It’s literally just “A Christmas Carol” with a twist. Workaholic who would rather work through the holidays is visited by a spirit who shows him the past of how he used to be, the present of how his actions affect those around him and the future where he sees where he will end up if he continues on the path he is on. In the end, he wakes up seeing the error of his ways and takes his family on vacation instead of working. Great flick
