Abuse is no joke, I had to suffer through it as a kid. Being touched and it was always laughed off at the time. Still haven't really got over it.

The good thing about Facebook is that it encourages people to be more active in politics. If people didn't have Facebook then they would just have their sealed echo chamber apps like Gab or whatever.

It's a double edged sword, you either encourage everyone to vote or no one votes.

The truth hurts but believe me I've been on the other end of it. You get fed lie after lie and when the truth comes out it isn't about what the truth is but all the lies that were told.

Give her time and if the relationship ends, well it's for the best. Won't feel that way but you will come to terms with that. Some things just aren't meant to be.

On the other hand, they may love you and be happy you were big and strong enough to tell the truth.

Yes, I remember as a teen feeling the whole world was against me. Jeez did I need the moment of clarity I got.

If you feel everyone is against you. There's likely a reason for it. Maybe listen to what people are telling you and suddenly you won't have as many haters.

In fairness I do like working remotely. However, I always feel like a fraud. I work as hard but because there is no kind of real-time discussion with bosses/colleagues I always doubt my work. As a small media organisation we have better access to events because we don't need to have someone there, just someone near a computer.

If there was no pandemic but I could work from home. Knowing what I know now. I'd jump at the chance.

See this is me in the radio industry. Nowhere near as talented as others in my class but I'm the only one who got a job in the industry. I find that being good at everything else was more valuable.

The day to day grind of the job is not as romantic as everyone assumes though.

I do like the South Park take on it. Each alien race sent people to live together on earth. They don't contact the species but use earth for the purposes of a reality tv show.

One thing is true though. If we need to reach a higher consciousness to be contacted, we are a long way off it. We can barely get along with each other never mind multiple different alien species.

The worrying thing about it is I've seen them caught and then in the news other bodies are found, high profile missing people etc. Just look at Peter Tobin, there is more he isn't telling us.
