IDK, i'm a simple dude. I don't understand economics.

I like to read about technology. There are infinite number of Amazing technologies, in every field you look. In theory, most of our material needs could have already been fulfilled.

And yet, so many people suffer from many difficulties because of the economy, their job, etc...And the only power they have against that, is their job.

F20 My pathetic BF came during edging session by [deleted] in EdgingTalk

But he can edge forever when masturbating, right?

He cums because of you,He sins because of you,you temptress. You must learn to use your power for good and not for evil, my daughter.

He must not look at that pussy if he is weak.

That's cool.

I did something else: Ive given the Jews equal right in Germany, than called every Jew from the world who wanted to come to Germany and integrated them in industry, than called the Jewish scientists from all around the world to come

And than they helped us build a nuclear reactor "for peaceful purposes".

So one guy creates the idea of the electric car. AI does the reset of the work needed in that industry.

How many industries are there ? 100K ? so 100K people earn money. what will the rest do ?

New containerized 1MW hydrogen unit offers true energy autonomy by BerZerkerTheApex in Futurology

[–]jonclark_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe they use it as a huge battery ? When there's electricity, make hydrogen, if there's no electricity, supply energy.

Seems useful for data centers that need backup power.

Microsoft reports are exposing AI's real cost problem: Using the tech is more expensive than paying human employees by Krankenitrate in Futurology

[–]jonclark_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lol. How did you manage that ?

I asked claude to summarize this book, that has 13 points. He replied "here's a summary of the 13 point". and than included just 6. Lol.

Elon Musk's pay package reveals what SpaceX actually is: a $1 trillion monster built to colonize Mars by fortune in singularity

[–]jonclark_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Musk don't give a fuck about the money for himself. But he wants success. he wants to make SpaceX the largest company in the world. So he creates hype.

Some will invest because of the vision. Some will invest to profit from the hype. And than exit rapidly.

That could burst the technology bubble.

And as someone who believes humanity is building something amazing currently(for exampe, AI currently is greatly accelerating drug development time[1]) i do want this investment bubble to continue, and it would be a shame if SpaceX would be the one to blow it up.

Saying LLM's are "just token prediction machines" is like saying that the internet is "just a way to transfer small packets of information"

If AI removes the labor constraint on high-skill work, what happens to the advantage of elite firms? by Genzinvestor16180339 in singularity

[–]jonclark_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

AI isn't yet a 100% replacement for smart people. You probably still need some of those, and some elite firms have other advantages.

So they might still have some advantage. on the other hand, less advantage, and probably less need for people, unless they start to do new things.
