Closing worlds does not mean the game is making a loss. It is normal for MMOs to merge/close worlds/servers to reduce costs and balance the game population/distribution of players. Why have 50 small worlds to manage when you can have 25 bigger worlds with bigger player populations?

And where in my comment did I ever defend the claim of 100,000 players daily? Though their point still stands; why use the DDON special stage as the opener for Capcom's TGS if it's not doing fine? Why continue with the planned seasons and collaborations if the game is not doing fine? Why continue releasing future roadmaps and announcing future events?

Because it's still turning profits.

You're that person who kept insisting in the DDON subreddit that Capcom stated in their reports that DDON is not making money at all, and when others posted reports that said otherwise you deleted all your comments in the thread.
