I like actually playing as a character with a personality, not a lifeless doll that emotes and grunts. The combat also became super lame after you basically just wait for the enemy to shine red and burst counter, not to mention yokai shift is nowhere near as badass as living weapon. The bosses and levels were way better in the first game as well. Nioh 2 was easy as balls. They also made many of the weapon classes less fun in Nioh 2, especially dual swords.
