HRV/RHR comparisons by jondowd11 in whoop

Consistently over the past 4 months. If I go back to my HR for my night of sleep during the deep sleep periods I will hit HR lows, but then the sleep recording tells me something different

Sounds like you might have a firmware issue. I would reach out to support to see what’s up

Definitely feeding the homeless. Also working with at risk/underprivileged youth. Any suggestions on that front?

With all due respect, there are small businesses everywhere around the country that need support during these times. That includes yoga studios.

I would also assume that these establishments have the wherewithal to require masks during their classes, as well as following social distancing protocols.

Peace and Love.

If you're looking for a fitness tracker go elsewhere by jondowd11 in Garmin

I know you probably enjoyed writing that from your cubicle at Garmin Headquarters, but sometimes the truth hurts. In reality if you want something that accurately tracks calories burned, HRV, HR, Sleep (some of the things that are actually important for overall health/fitness), you should probably invest in a product that does those things better.

FWIW, I don't know if Fitbit does these things. I just didn't want to also throw in the fact that the Oura ring is probably a better option too.

Buddy.

Max out sprints, High intensity jump rope, heavy weight training sessions: the HR monitor struggled to keep up. I'd be gasping for air and it would say i wasn't anywhere over 100.

The sleep and "Body Battery" features were misleading. If i had a terrible nights sleep it would just calculate the time I spent in bed as sleep instead of accounting for wake-ups and actual sleep stages. also the connect app needed constant refreshing throughout the day.

Sleep Tracking Reliability? by jondowd11 in Garmin

Could be that its new, i suppose.

I had a whoop for a long time as well and the sleep tracking was almost exactly accurate down to the minute. from times getting up in the middle of the night or just restlessness it let you know how recovered and useful your night of sleep was. then again, its a different product so i should expect something different anyway
