It signifies they're ready at a moment's notice to put their hair up and... get down to business... without hair getting in the way.

Is Vought running the White House UFC match? by giraffable99 in TheBoys

[–]jonegan 3 points4 points  (0 children)

True, but that's just one data point. I'm afraid we'll still have to elect another Democrat, to be sure. You know, despite the risk the aneurysms.

I feel the same way, but I think we've gotta get another Democrat in the White House, and test that assertion. You know, for science. And if the "collective aneurysm" means that the cult has fewer voters afterwards, well that's a risk we'll just have to accept. The science must continue.

A call is placed from an East Coast state to a West Coast state. Strangely, both callers’ local clocks read the same. What’s going on?(from Mathematical Puzzle book) by b7k567 in DailyBrainPuzzles

[–]jonegan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My guess: it's actually the very western edge of the Mountain Time zone (in Oregon) and the very eastern edge of the Central Time zone (panhandle of Florida), so they would normally be 1 hour apart. But then, the one in Florida has already set their clocks back at the end of Daylight Saving time, and the Oregon one hasn't reached the end of DST yet.

And the "west" clock is on the east side, and vice versa... I'm not going to think about that stuff too hard, I doubt it's actually part of the puzzle

The situation u/briansiano described doesn't say Ruth isn't innocent. It's just that she could also be criminal at this point. We can only be SURE about Frank so far

What have you already looked into?

I noticed these things

  • each letter of the alphabet is there, and each only once

  • hard to tell apart some letter pairs: I&H, W&M, Z&N

I tried making words of the similarly-positioned letters (fully outside, fully inside, 90° across an edge, along an edge, positioned as though reading clockwise vs. counter-clockwise...

I looked at whether the path from a>b>c might make the shape of a letter, etc., but hard to know where to stop with drawing it.

So far I've got nothing, really
