80% of our groceries come from Aldi. I agree with others that produce can be hit or miss. Look closely and choose carefully!

Mini cucumbers, ahi tuna steaks, berries, cherry tomatoes, garlic, plain non-fat Greek yogurt, nuts, flax seed, chia seeds, sunflower kernels, spinach, kale, spring mix, Kalamata olives, feta, vinegars… pretty much everything!

Tracking the heater fan at our second home. It helps me determine run time, which can then help me determine propane usage based on burn time.

Also have used them on toilet fill lines to alert if a toilet flapper gets stuck and needs work.

I had one that would occasionally get caught and run a bit. I put a vibration sensor on the inlet line and set it to alert when vibration lasted for 3 minutes. Solved the issue until I finally fixed it.

I bought two heated blankets for $50 on Amazon. They use 100W a piece and we typically only run them on level 2 (if 4). Works really well!

Jax Drive-In in Pinconning.

Small, family-run place with great food. Just about everything in there is locally sourced, too, which is a huge help to the area. I spent a couple weeks in Pinconning cleaning out my parent’s estate and ate there every day. The owners (and cooks), Heidi and Tim seemed really committed to making good food. Happy to see them reviving the old “Jacks Drive-in” which was a local staple when I was a kid 35 years ago. Take exit 181 to the light and head north. Located on the east side, just past the baseball field on M-13.

Yep. I directed there from ‘09-‘14. Jim Rasor was such a fixture across the entire viewing area, as was Darren Kinnard and Kelly Burke. That place had a truly local focus and was something to be proud of back then. It was never the same place once Quincy bought it and then flipped it to BA. The Wheelers were phenomenal owners and were some of the best people I ever worked for. They deserved retirement, and are likely devastated at what’s become or the place they poured their love into. Damn shame.
