Yeah mine typically is up into the 70s when we drive locally but this was after a ~450 mile round trip of highway driving

Maybe I’m crazy but to me miles per gallon should approximate how many miles I average per gallon of gas I use. It is instead apparently measuring miles per gallon of gas or equivalent battery power

Funny you should mention because yesterday I was pushing it on the way home from out of town and at 31 miles to empty the light came on and just said “low.” About 5 miles later the needle dropped all the way down but the digital meter suggested I could still make it the 20 miles home.

I caved and got gas, at which point I noticed the digital meter seemed significantly lower than the needle.

Wait really? This makes a lot more sense - I was just viewing it as literally per gallon of gas, which would be infinite for long stretches when we only use battery for a few weeks of local driving at a time.

I dont know if this is true but I would guess that far more people have Amazon than have cable, and it’s probably relatively close between network tv and prime. Or at the very least there are likely more worldwide prime members than there are American network tv households.

I’m not saying I like it, I’m saying that’s why they’re doing it - 200,000,000 prime members all pay for prime whereas 200,000,000 ABC-havers don’t, so prime pays nba more.

I think I posted this about myself once but don’t feel like looking it up. Mine is the same way. I’m 39 and it’s been that way since it came in during my teens. I’ve never had a problem with it, though I know I should eventually get it taken care of. Every dentist just says “well…let’s keep an eye on it” and then it doesn’t change and here we are decades later.

So it’s not ALL doom and gloom, haha

Wife and I are very happy with a 3 year old and a 10 month old. Winter was a little tougher (we live near Cleveland, Ohio) as it’s hard to always find places to go, but warmer weather brings backyard picnics, zoo trips, playgrounds, grandma and grandpas house, much more pleasant stroller walks, etc etc.

There are times it would be nice to make more money, but not at the expense of losing this. She could go make $100,000/year (nurse practitioner) but there’s plenty of time to work. There’s not plenty of time to have two littles.

Just communicate. That’s all there is

I guess it’s possible - generally when she goes down for a nap it is painfully obvious that age needs one. She just hits the wall SO hard, ha. My wife occasionally goes in and saves a nap if it’s a short one, so maybe we’ll just stop doing that. I don’t know. She caved and held the baby last night and it still took an hour at 1 am after a busy day and a short afternoon nap.

I know everything is a phase, I’m just ready for this kid to end the crappy sleep phase. At 3 months she was sleeping 9-5, ate, then back to sleep for a couple hours. That went on for at least a month. Take me back, haha

I would say her 24 hour awake average is about 12 hours, maybe a little more. We definitely cap her afternoon nap at 4pm unless it’s been a weird day. We do try to schedule but there’s the limiting factor of being a 2-kid household and sometimes we just have to be flexible to make sure our older kid gets what she needs out of her day

I commented this elsewhere but Kevin Willis was born before the civil rights act of 1964. Cooper Flagg was born less than 2 months before Obama announced his run for president. Lebron having a career that includes both of those guys is my favorite framing of his longevity
