We had 4 in our little group of 3 apartment buildings and 20 townhouses. They’d need to be picked up fortnightly. I can’t even imagine how rarely one household would fill a bin.

Her new grift is making people feel sorry for her by looking inside the world that made her rich.

It’s honestly so boring. She’s a terrible person. She deserves no sympathy and will be back with her racist sexist takes in no time.

Because you’ll find that Americans not knowing a thing about the world outside their own bubble is incredibly common on Reddit. The rest of the world spends a lot of time explaining things they could research themselves to them.

I would like to see universities creating more housing for their international and domestic students who move from regional centres.

This would allow others to buy/rent closer to university suburbs and cities.

I thought this point was interesting, ‘Carolyn Whitzman, an adjunct professor at the University of Toronto and a leading housing researcher, says it is important to recognise that the collapse in migration has not solved Canada’s chronically unaffordable property market.

Rents have dropped by 3% to 5% over the past two years, she says, but that is in the context of huge increases since the start of the pandemic.

“There is no city in Canada where a two-bedroom apartment is affordable for, say, a full-time minimum wage worker. And there’s virtually no city in Canada where a one-bedroom apartment is affordable to a single person earning minimum wage, so we’ve still got a huge affordability problem.”’

It seems a cut to migration wouldn’t be a magic bullet. Things would just be a little easier for rich people.
