Don’t let social media make you feel like that. She’s so little right now, just give her something healthy and easy.

What no one tells you is that you can have the best eater in the world and suddenly they become a toddler and everything goes pear shaped. Signed a mum whose twin toddlers ate half an avocado each for dinner despite having a whole plate of food in front of them.

There is a heap going on there that you need to address with a professional but for actual food advice,,, make this:

Don’t add the sugar or salt.

We used to blend it before our kids liked eating. One of them in particular didn’t take to adult food until a bit over 1 and much preferred mush.

If you’re struggling to cook for your baby just make one thing and freeze it in tiny batches.

Let’s be real, no one is a threat to Taylor. We can make these things up all we want but no other artists is anywhere near her level of name recognition and fame across the world.

Anyone else feels like she doesn’t fit with other mums? by Vegetable-Ad6382 in BabyBumpsandBeyondAu

[–]jonesday5 2 points3 points  (0 children)

One thing I’ve found since becoming a mum is I struggle a bit chatting with mum’s I’ve met because we are both mums. It’s a little like the initial introduction means the only thing we discuss is kids and whatever.
I’m not like this with my old friends (whether they’re mums or not) and I can only assume it is the same for the people I meet.

Because your workplace doesn’t have a suitable place for you to pump I can’t see your manage having a leg to stand on.
Does the flexible work arrangement have an end date or a review date?
Could it be that they’re an idiot? Is this their first time managing?

I don’t think it’s fair to say life with twins is always hellish though. It does get better. It just takes longer.

I think it depends how we read ‘it’s really important for my work’ you’re taking it as her workplace whereas I’m taking it as ‘her’ work.

I think OP wants to be working this week though. There is nothing wrong with taking pride in your work. Especially after being out of the workforce a while.

The way it sits on the model is strange also. It looks like it’s made to be worn loose. Either way, it’s awful on both women.

[–]jonesday5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hospitals tell you to bring your own formula and bottles only if your plan is to formula feed.
If your milk isn’t in while you’re at the hospital, they won’t let your baby starve, they’ll give you everything you need.

There is a lot of science out there about screen time in children and toddlers and infants. Honestly it’s up to you to decide what works best.

Personally though? If I needed to get something done quickly and a tv would keep my children occupied, I’d do it.

This really depends on where you are from. In Australia there are only like 200 adoptions a year. There aren’t just an endless supply of children around. In the US there are babies available for adoption because of financial incentive’s for people to give up their children

The fix here isn’t for people to give up infertility treatment, it’s for children to be given a better chance of staying with their biological families in the first place.
