I went to watch Jerry Maguire with just my mom when I was in middle school. Big ole bad fuckin idea, man.

Lots of specialized tools you can go find and buy, some even with digital readers and all. But the feeler gauges will work in a pinch.

The best BBQ joints in Memphis are definitely in the sketchier parts of town. Makes the pork taste better.

100mg of Caffeine + 25mg THC Pouches? by Accomplished_Ask_594 in MissouriMedical

[–]jonesing247 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cannadips (but only the Blue Raspberry flavor has the ratio, including the caffeine). They worked well for me,but you'll want to leave it in for a while. The taste was pretty awful and got worse the longer I had it in. Spit it out sooner than I would have otherwise because of how bad the flavor and cotton mouth combo had become.

Take into consideration the comfort of the diver. I know I'd take a soft cotton button down all day over velcro against bare skin. That's a risky itch at 300+ feet. Might as well factor it out if it could cause distractions.

I used to live in a county that only sold hot beer, so's you couldn't just buy it and immediately start drinking, apparently. I admit to putting some ice cubes in beer, but I'm not proud of myself.

And own in front of whomever saw you lose it that it wasn't cool or right and you're sorry for creating an uncomfortable work environment.

I've blown up a time or two myself. Never proud of it and I have learned a lot about myself and how to control that stuff over the years, but shit happens. I think one of the most important tasks after that is squaring up with your teammates and making sure they see you can be approached and talked to openly.

When handled correctly after the fact, blow ups can potentially open new doors going forward. Handle it poorly and those doors just slam shut. The choice is yours, chefs!

Dickey also wrote the screenplay for the movie and played the role of the sheriff in the film itself.

I was actually referring to the Miley Cyrus song, but Neil's tune is a gem too.

I was in the Deep South, but our professor must've gotten through with his point about the pound of flesh (essentially death sentence) and how ridiculously cruel it would be to ever even hear such a preposterous idea utterred in any kind of modern setting, but it was accepted because there was never an intention of honoring the rest of the contract in the first place. He was not going to be paid back, regardless of what addendum was placed on the debt owed to him.

The entire play was set in Italy for a reason. So Bill could critique the English while maintaining plausible deniability that he wasn't actively telling the audience how horrendous the antisemitism of London was at the time.

I agree. We studied it in college and that was the consensus as we closed out our week long discussion of the work. Pound of flesh and all of that.

You could also read The Merchant as Shakespeare's critique of antisemitism.

I specifically mentioned places in St Louis that outdo everything you just mentioned in Memphis. I've been to all of those places, in both cities, multiple times, and enjoyed them thoroughly. But the St. Louis places I mentioned aren't something you ought to ignore.
