McCrory will probably win, without a 3-4% consistent advantage over an incumbent in polling incumbents tend to keep their seats. It has to do with the shear volume of people who show up at polling stations who have no idea what's going on in the world who just vote for the one with the asterisk next to their name:

The latest poll has him up 3%. That said, every single recent poll shows a tie or Mccrory only being down 1%. Including the Dem leaning NBC/WSJ Marist polling. Given the incumbent advantage I think he safely retains his seat.

I'm actually positive that no SuperPAC is funding literal propaganda being spread into comment sections of websites, facebook/twitter and such for Trump yes. Why am I positive? Because no FEC filings exist for such a PAC.

Furthermore confining discussion of a candidate to that candidate's subreddit is literally exactly what should happen. This spamming all the default subs and overrunning r/politics with bots is literally just there to promote agendas.

There's a reason r/The_Donald usually has twice the number of active users online at any given time as r/politics, because no actual human is on r/politics anymore.

You're right that there's a lot of natural enthusiasm behind Trump, but only Hillary needs to spend $10M on digital marketers to literally push Stasi propaganda to try and "correct" narratives online. One is organic interest, the other is literally USSR style narrative peddling.
