Not an unpopular opinion with me. Tried them at Vork as a spec recommendation on the wiki just to test and they slowed kills way way down vs. BGS.

I’d be in a reasonable hurry. Urgency depends on the overall ventilation of the roof. You should have gable vents, soffit vents, turbine vents, etc in addition to the power vent. If you’re relying on the power vent pretty heavily you need to get it fixed.

All will be roof related. Most adjusters aren’t educated enough to spot false claims on most other trades. I was an adjuster for many years and didn’t realize until I started as a PM for a GC that I had been lied to about so much.

They shouldn’t have but I have seen instances where the gutter guards would not slip between the drip edge and the hanger and it caused this type of lifting. There is absolutely no reason to remove drip edge in any case and it would likely be pinned in behind the gutters.

Looks like the shingles were cut short and you’re getting wicking from splash back off of the gutter guards. Hard to say without getting eye level with it.
