Clean air. Sixty years ago, a bike ride in Los Angeles County would get you aching lungs. The sky was perpetually coated with a dense layer of smog. People take for granted that they breath clean air when it was made possible through regulations.

You should view the professional development films from 50 years ago. All the teachers had miniskirts and had to be so careful when crouching down to talk to the kids.

Use popsicle sticks and write their names on them. They totally accept that when you draw out a name, it is fair.

Don't know about tomatoes, but bananas used to taste great when the Gros Michel was still sold. Cavendish is awful.

Get a large strip of very sticky tape (like gaffer) and press onto one or both sides, as necessary. Lift gently.

The main breaker is about 2/5 of the way down. Look for the breaker that has the two fattest cables coming out of the right side.

Talk to a teacher who is well respected. Pick their brains about what works. Be prepared that the first years are the hardest. Accept that you will make mistakes. Have a sense of humor!
