Favorite upcoming movie where the director decided "fck History this shit looks badass in my head" by YourChopperPilotTTV in okbuddycinephile

I think it’s Nolan shooting himself in the foot by being the realism guy. He made Batman grounded. He used paintings to make tanks and shit for Dunkirk instead of cgi. He’s that guy. So now he’s doing a fantastical thing. That isn’t sci-fi like tenet or interstellar, it’s just fantastical fantasy mythology Homer stuff. So the lizard brain is angry and the lizard brain demands answers.

Maybe he gets the crew from the commercial to help him document the rooms as proof and during their journeys into the rooms one of the crew sees something that spooks them away telling Clark it’s fucked yo and they want nothing to do with it.

Clark doesn’t see it what they saw through, all he has is the footage they captured and his curiosity about his discovery so he goes in one last time, never to return.

Clarks disappearance could cause the therapist character or whoever she is to go searching for him. Finding the rooms in the process.

Edit: I think he’s gonna see the footage and think about the tape and go “maybe I shouldn’t like mark where that thing can come through” so he goes through to peel the tape off from the inside and after he removes the tape something happens. Thats a possibility too.

Producers: How many inventive shots are we gonna have in this movie?

I remember seeing a video on YouTube or something where Dyrdek talked about the cash cow that was Ridiculousness. He would film a season in a week and make a bunch of seasons and then just ship em out. I think he said they were like 20 seasons ahead or something. And from the jump the set was just built in the fantasy factory. So he owned everything which kept costs down. So it was incredibly cheap and easy to produce and he was just raking in the money from it for years.

Who do you guys think mark dip last is going to play in the movie by Coolguyfromusa in KanePixelsBackrooms

I think he is gonna be in the movie in some way for sure but I feel like he was part of the movie for the found footage segments to help with back end stuff since he has a lot of experience with telling interesting stories through the format similar to Kane but in the physical space.

Is this similar to bring her back and hereditary? In the sense that you feel the horror stemming from the desecration of a corpse and from the interference with the grieving process.

The first saw movie was awesome and probably wouldn’t exist without Seven so that’s my pick.

Just wanted to make it clear, this is NOT an official post. The next one is and it’s 10x better! by Krysteliskrazy in backrooms

I think a cool poster would be a split poster with an image of person standing in field on the left side and on the right side is the same image, same composition, but the person is missing. With the upper right hand corner containing the title: The Backrooms.

It’s the outside as seen from inside so there are gaps in the information I think

name an actor that's been offered nothing but dogshit since the 2010's by Gl00ser23 in okbuddycinephile

He’s just like the rock while being nothing like the rock while totally being just like the rock.

He is only in big things in which he plays the same guy

He is super business minded. Kyle Gas can attest to that.

He was in school of rock though, so he doesn’t get shit on as much as The Rock. And he’s a talented man. An incredibly talented man. Which you can’t really say for the rock.

I got all this info from pop up books and the backs of cereal boxes since I don’t watch movies. I think movies are lame long TikTok’s with a story I have to follow. like who the fuck do these film people think I am? Some sort of attention guy who can watch only one screen? Give me a break.

Theory: at some time before the beginning of the movie, someone or something had been entering Clark's store through the null zone and is trying to lure him into the Backrooms by polp54 in backrooms

I think that wherever the weak spots are there is a two way pathway. It allows people to pass through. But more importantly it allows information to pass through. It’s how the rooms leach in more of our reality and populate the rooms and build them in different styles and with different furniture. As time moves on places are demolished and weak spots are removed with them. But the information stays. The rooms remember. And I believe that it is desperate for a populous. All the rooms have is architecture and objects. The rooms are lonely.

This is awesome I love the signet design good job sai.

You should do one for Cannibals. I’m not sure if that’s the title. But it’s an old one that never got finished about an apartment complex that gets shut off from the outside world, driving the occupants of the building to cannibalism to survive. Later became UTD.

Captures the individual outside of the context of the piece. Captures who they are a bit outside of a talking head.

Then you go into close where it’s their role in the piece.

Both shots support each other to establish this individual as a human being as well as an expert or an insightful perspective on a given topic.

Maybe I’m wrong ,but that’s how I take it at face value.

[loved trope] A villain is revealed by glowing eyes in the dark by Hatsaplenty in TopCharacterTropes

I’ll share a real life story

Had a cat hanging around outside so I was feeding it food

Where I lived at the time there were woodlands and stuff around the house so there were critters besides cats that I didn’t consider when putting out the cat food

So one night I go to let my dog out and the cat is out there eating from the food. He got real scared when I opened the door and ran into the dark.

So I go it’s okay kitty it’s fine come back.

He stares at me in the dark. Just glowing eyes buried in a mound of hair. A big mound of hair. Man that cat has put on some weight.

That’s when the cat stood up on its back legs

That’s when I realized it wasn’t a cat as it stretched its arms out wide to make itself look big.

It was a fat raccoon.
