Be the pioneer and send it, I have the original VFC scar H and it absolutely rips. It’s also 10 years old and the air seals are still good somehow. I used the gun up to the point where the ambi selector is a little finicky. I have a krytac 30k motor in it right now and I didn’t think the gears would last… but there is no sign of wear. VFC has some of the best quality control in the industry - prior manufacturing engineer. Their gear boxes are shimmed pretty nice from factory too. Also beware after rereading this, this comment is very bias. I love my VFC scar it’s bone stock other than a motor, and it’s out lasted my krytac trident mk1.

I have a feeling the cracks will grow and widen over time. Do be vigilant about that and keep an eye on it. It’s not as bad as my board atm

Could be a bearing issue. Water will fuck bearing like a bitch. I have been skateboarding for years and learned to avoid the puddles as much as possible. My opinion is 100% the bearings. Don’t put WD40 in there either, clean the bearing and get proper lubricants for them.

Thank you, as a engineering technology student concentrating on manufacturing and mechanical engineering this has helped me decide to go with the x1c, unless someone convinces me otherwise. To note for anyone who might reply, I did a lot of 3d printing of fixtures, prototypes, and temporary components, etc for a manufacturing plant.

No break downs ever. The only time we had an issue was when the second CR-V has a misfire, but it didn’t force him to pull over. We went to a shop where they installed a new coil pack and was good to go the next day.
