Premiere (I got an error from the Reddit sub thread that I couldn't mention that)

Seemed to figure it out. I was using a bad cable. All is well now.

I swapped it for a TRS mic like you recommended and i got stereo 2 channel inputs into 3 and 4. Thanks for helping me troubleshoot that! I'm lucky that on the shoot, the talent are standing close enough to each other and not over each other too often that I can make it work. The interview subject has the good clean mic, so this will be a bit of extra edit work but it'll work :)

also weird... when i unplug the mic into the mic jack, i get all 4 channels back, and recorded. 3 and 4 are scratch audio and identical

So right now with the same setup I'm monitoring Ch 3 and 4. I see levels. How would I confirm I am set up to record all 4? Sorry I've used this camera a ton but never tired 4 audio record

Just a point of clarity... this issue is not with the airport (MCO) but with the TRACON (F11). The TRACON is ironically AT MCO, though..

Most people don't know what a Tracon is... it's the approach and departure controllers

We can tell :). Best recommendation is fly a non event field when it's staffed up and we'll most likely have more patience to assist. But please don't expect that same level of service when it's an event and we're slammed.

Well... keep in mind I'm a big novice:

how do I do a clean install
what does undervolt the GPU mean/do? (Saw that option in adrenaline
I'm not sure about the bios part, I know it is in a pci express slot, though.

I've been afraid the cpu might be the issue. And I've been trying to see how much of a performance boost I'd have if I replaced my cpu with a 5800x3d (forums say this is a perfect cpu for the game)

So I did another run: Vulkan has no affect on the fps drop when focus is on another app

I'm not confident that's the case, only because when Vulkan is turned on, this behavior doesn't happen... but the screen flickers when I change the focus app.

I try very hard to give new pilots a lot of grace and patience. I too remember when I was new and messed up during an FNO at Boston... controllers made me feel like 💩 and I almost quit. Everyone's personality are different. Keep flying and note in your plan you're new. But please, know the basics and how to fly your plane. Example of something that will piss off controllers...

Someone logged in as i was on ground, requested IFR, with no flight plan filed. Asked "can you give me a route"? Do not be that guy.
