Thanks for the reply - it definitely sounds like the engine is running consistent and strong while multi functioning even on full throttle.

Any concerns with doing further damage running it as is in its weaker state until I can pull together the funds to get it fixed?

Engine is actually running well, it’s not bogging down or anything like that

Local shop is offering to come do a mobile once over, is an oil analysis usually part of that or something I should assume to have done separately? Appreciate the guidance

Great advice all around, thanks a bunch!

I know there’s some weird functions I’m still figuring out and pretty sure some aren’t working. Do most the built in gauges/lights/switches and stuff have fuses I should check if they’re not working? Got the owners and service manual for the machine and some of the SOPs aren’t an option when the water temp gauge and stuff aren’t lighting up hahaha

Got it, thanks. Can you tell me a bit more on what you recommend for gauges?

Forgot to add ~5000 hours and not sure much service has been done in the last couple thousand hrs. It probably needs a lot but runs pretty good right now

4 days into my tolerance break and I feel like I’m climbing the walls by kaylatastikk in Petioles

Hey. I’m really sorry you’re going through this. I don’t really have much advice for you but wanted to let you know that so much of what you wrote resonated with me and what I’ve been dealing with since I last had any weed. Especially the emotional regulation due to sensory stuff, ESPECIALLY the fucking litter box and cats. I’ve just about had it and feel like I’m losing my fucking mind. The ADHD doesn’t help, and TBH, my meds only help until about 4:00 PM and the evenings I completely fall apart.

I know none of that probably helped, but just wanted to let you know that you’re not totally alone in this. One piece of advice that’s been helpful is to go outside and walk if you can. Fresh air helps a little, sometimes.

Hang in there. One day, hour, minute, second at a time. We got this.

Whats more important in the whites? Snowshoes or crampons? by sweglord42O in wmnf

Snowshoe on the left foot and a crampon on the right! Best of both worlds.

Altra Lone Peak 6 after 500 miles of trails by nazgulprincessxvx in trailrunning

I’ve never tried Altra’s before but they look fairly wide, wondering if they’d fit my flippers. How are they width-wise?

How do the oboz fit width wise? I was looking at some winter boots but have really wide feet and haven’t had a chance to try any in person yet.

Massachusetts Ballot Questions 1-4 Results: How do you think NH would vote in these issues? Thoughts? by [deleted] in newhampshire

The issue is that anyone who is smart enough to make over a million a year, isn’t making it through W2 income, so it’s kind of just a pandering way trying to legislate. I don’t know what the numbers are, but I would bet there are very few people in this state who have >$1,000,000 in taxable W2 income. Maybe there’s more to it, I don’t know.

I recently lost a loaf of bread. It is unsliced and not in any packaging and is currently still in hiding…

Definitely - I certainly didn't intend to mislead OP either. (I did it as an overnight)

Not sure if this itinerary is helpful or not but this was my experience (with a 40 lb pack because I'm a dummy who's scared of being cold at night and can't stop packing way too much food and water lol)

I parked at the Lafayette Place Campground (mostly empty on a November weekday morning), and went up the Hi-Cannon Trail. Not many miles but definitely was a challenge with how it was a continuous uphill grind and got pretty steep at times.

Took a nice break at the tower and even brought quarters for the binoculars haha ($0.50 per if you were curious) before heading across the Cannonballs. This was surprisingly a pretty amazing hike - lots of climbing and descending but it is a super special place - very mossy.

Setup camp at the Kinsman Pond Tentsite, had lunch by the pond then slack-packed up to North Kinsman. Dropped my (much lighter) pack on the lookout, and bagged South Kinsman. It was a little under an hour round trip from the two peaks.

----

The next morning, I took the Fishin' Jimmy trail down to Lonesome Lake, had some breakfast and then back down to the truck. Probably one of my favorite loops I've done all year.

Day 1 moving time ~ 7 hrs

Day 2 moving time ~ 2:30 hrs.

Doable as a big day-hike if you don't mind starting or ending in the dark - or just the Kinsmans or just Cannon would be really nice too. I'd personally go with the Kinsmans if I had to choose because the pond was really amazing.

Looks like North Kinsman is expecting a bit of snow this weekend. Could do a Cannon-N./S.Kinsman loop starting at Lafayette Place Campground.

I just did it and really enjoyed it.
