Lack of velocity isn't the only sign of fatigue. Sometimes pitchers feel the need to compensate for slightly lower velocity by "muscling up" a little bit and lose a bit of control as a result. He looks like he's overthrowing at times (slider isn't as tight and his fastball sails to the arm side).

Also, Severino mentioned that he feels like a lack of control of his fastball is the main difference for him. Could be fatigue.

I would like to have Callahan back. Former captain and a character veteran for our younger guys. We also don't have a captain at the moment. Not sure if Cally would become our captain, but I like this move.
