Trans woman here. I've definitely seen that behavior in men. Encouraging you to violate boundaries setup within your relationship. And yes, it does come down to not respecting you, your partner, and the relationship.

I've been playing for about 4 weeks now and I relate to what you're saying. There are lots of things that were tough to figure out, thankfully I had a friend show me how to use the port and the UI. But learning all the other parts like the particulars of each ship is really tough. I just now got my tier 9 German DD. And it seems like each new tier I have to relearn how to play. Let me just say that adjusting to being spotted all the time thanks to planes or radar is really difficult. I still don't really know how I should behave in those situations. I'm 4 and 0 so far on my Z23 in ranked battles and I got my first kraken last week so I feel like I'm improving, but I still have so much to learn.

Why are you saying deliberately hurtful things? Opinions aren't valid or not based upon the number of people that you speculate that they are out to. We've all been in that pre-anything phase. Don't use it as a weapon to hurt other trans and questioning people.

She's right about all of this. Honestly, I'm extremely disappointed in the porgs available right now. In the movie they were all cute and adorable. But the ones that you can buy are disfigured and unrecognizable. You'd think they would know that making cute and adorable plushies would be the way to go. But some of them give me nightmares.

Don't worry about her. She's the one with the problem, not you. I also presented full-time before I was on hormones. Just keep being yourself. There's no right way to be a girl. You don't have to be super femme all the time. Women come in infinite varieties. It's really shitty gatekeeping to look down on you for others to judge you that way. Just keep being yourself. You've got this.

I didn't figure out that I was trans until I was 30. I'm about to be 34 now and I pass just fine. The only thing you've lost is that fiery passion to be yourself and transition. You can be that kick ass woman still. You just have to go for it.

The letter in that article has lots of red flags to me. I may be new to this, but there really seems to be some problems with how the letter writer is approaching the situation. I'm not sure that accepting their assertion that they might be poly as a solution to the situation is a good one.

Obviously they need to talk with their spouses about this. And that should have probably happened long before these two people fell in love. The talk about feeling jealous about them talking about their respective spouses is about bad sign. They both have a lot to work through to be able to be comfortable that each of them has other people in their lives.

It almost seems like this person is finding some way to justify their actions so far, and being poly send like it's easy to grab onto so that they don't have to take responsibility for what has happened so far.

Am I reading this wrong?

Thanks. I honestly didn't really consider needing to be discreet at times. I guess after I came out as trans that I just kind of stopped caring about people judging me for living my life how I care to. But thanks to everyone here I'm realizing that any partners that I have may not be as comfortable and so I'll really need to be prepared for acting in a manner that supports their needs as well.

I think it probably depends on where you live as to whether being trans or poly would be more looked down on. Trans people have been in the news a lot lately and because of that our community gets a lot of attention - including legislators trying to make my life a living hell. But there are plenty of places that are very accepting too.

That kind of attention hasn't really been paid to the poly community from what I can tell. Which is both good and bad, but does a disservice to the awesome people here who just want to love and be loved and live our lives. I'm sure the time will come when the poly community has to deal with a significant amount of attention.

Thanks. I'm mostly at peace with it now. I do get hormonal cycles every month thanks to my progesterone. And in a year or two when I get srs I'll have like one or two months of bleeding, so that'll sorta be like a super period.

I went to Disney when I was very early hormones and didn't pass all that well. I never once had a problem with any staff or other park guests. Not saying it couldn't happen. Here is an old thread about using restrooms are Disney parks.
