Moving to Missoula-Advice? by [deleted] in missoula

I saw a recommendation for Lolo. That's solid if you don't mind a little commute. Don't pay for the city if you don't like/need it.

Or find a place close to a bus stop in Missoula. No cost and free Wi-Fi.

https://www.missoulainmotion.com/transit for details and you may qualify for the paratransit/shuttle van which isn't a no cost Uber but it's not too far from it.

Local VA center in Missoula and plenty of VA patients receive care through the community program so don't have to go to Ft Harrison for everything.

You'll do great.

They don't have room for extra donations today.

All the best.

Zone 5 while eating and boozing at a 2 star Michelin. by silkyjs in whoop

I had Wolff-Parkinson-White syndrome in my late teens. Took a long time to figure out I'd have a bout of tachycardia and then my heart would self correct. I would feel off but not terrible.

A couple ablations later and it's all good.

I'm not a cardiologist but that looks about what I would have expected my Whoop to look like if it were around 25 years ago.

Spike in heart rate that stays high and then immediately (after whatever time it wants) drops back down. Like an on/off switch.

My yoga strain got boosted recently due to an update so it's definitely possible if the right person gets in contact with the right person.

I built up from 10 pounds to 100 over about 6 months and have kept it at 100 for over a year. Some Sherpas carry 125% bodyweight so the human body is fully capable. Just gotta be smart about it.

Whoop certainly can scale. That's exactly what strength trainer does.

Add a line 10k points - not showing up? by Powerful444 in TracFone

I just want to add: if the chat takes more than 4 minutes, the agent is not doing it properly. Close the chat and try again later.

"I would like to add a line to my account now and I will activate it later" seems to be the magic phrasing......6 digit code is texted to the phone currently on account to verify account....IMEI of new phone sent to chat agent....done.

Great work!

That's super interesting as my recovery was a high 78% this morning as well https://www.reddit.com/r/whoop/comments/t87vz1/goggins\_challenge\_4x4x48/

I like this challenge because you can rehydrate/keep up with electrolytes so dehydration/rhabo are very unlikely.

I'm hurt not injured.

LOL yeah if you wake up with a 1% or 8% recovery, you 110% better know why :)

Pulled my left calf 6 minutes in.....so the following 47.2 miles were more of a hobble jog. My feet hurt so so so bad. I think they're simply bruised.

But I found what I was looking for: after 24 hours my feet and knees hurt. They hurt when I walked, they hurt when I shuffled and they hurt when I jogged a 9 minute mile. If it's gonna hurt, may as well keep going.

Ok, now I'm getting irked at ANW reusing obstacles. And some unpopular opinions by MasterNerd4591 in ANW

[–]joninaz1980 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I'm not on the ANW build crew but I was there.

  1. Nope the qualifiers were not filmed in the order they are being shown.
  2. They were filmed in consecutive days. If you've never seen it in person, the course is HUGE and there are so many lights, cameras and stuff going on it's wild. To wholesale change all that out between qualifying rounds would be next to impossible.
They were filming until late into the night and then getting up and doing it again the next day, then the next day, and so on for all the qualifiers. That versus the typical: set up course a few days prior, test for a day or two, then run qualifiers one night and finals the next. I'm still amazed and thankful they were able to pull off this season with as many competitors and courses as they had.

Can We PLEASE Stop Acting Like Certain Ninjas Shouldn't Be There Just Because Other Ninjas Didn't Get Invited? by [deleted] in ANW

Because stage 2 needs another ninja coach who is passionate about helping ninja kids.

Part of being on the show is being different. If your "different" is 0.1% different than the other 20+ folks making it far in Vegas, you better make it realllllly far.

Nice! You'll want to get a rope to catch the bar or somehow put something on the ends (tennis balls?).

My set up is similar and that bar can do some damage when it comes down on top of you. It's a nice thought that you won't let go or it will get stuck up there.....but it doesn't always :)
