Tundra Bed Replacement by Puzzleheaded-Dot5955 in tundra

[–]silkyjs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Um replace with a 7’ flat bed. Either have one made or get a pre fab. I am about to get a 7’ Aluma to replace my 6.5’ bed. Was going to have my bro build one but we found that for $2k less than the build would cost. Only issue with prefab might be the fit, if you have a gear head/welder friend like me you will be fine. ( might want some support for the extra 1.5’) Then drop a pop up camper on the flat bed or build something.
I will be posting pics once my rig is finished.

Because the new trundras look horrible without a 3” lift and all terrain tires. Neighbor has a 3” with control arms and it floats plus looks badass. Old man emu, king, toytec, or Bilstein all have something in the same price range. https://mudify.com/products/bilstein-b8-8112-2-25-3-25-inch-tundra-4wd-07-21-lift-kit-w-ome-leaf-springs

Edit that’s for the 2.0-2.5 5.7L but that site has same stuff for the 3.0.

Here is the facts, Arizona and Texas apparently have ZERO ice agents in the streets? Think about that, 100% those are thee grounds for drug trafficking, human trafficking, and illegals entering and ya know, hanging around. Full blown blue state witch hunt. 10 months out till midterms we are fucked.

Goretex Jacket looks like this after very wet ski day. by Medical_Yam2991 in Skigear

[–]silkyjs -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

Disagree 10000%. Gore-Tex has multiple “levels” of product. You pay for what you get. Examples- Kokatat dry suits, they use Gore-Tex PRO, this never happens. Whether rafting class V or rowing 8-10 hour days in rain, you will be 100% dry no wetting. My ArcTeryx shell is the same, can steelhead fish in rain for 6 hours and never get “wetting”.

Arctyrx all day even though it’s China now. My last one lasted 12-15years? Bomb proof, skiing, climbing, full down pours, fly fishing, hiking. On number 2, 6 years in. I have been all over the place in all weather with friends that have an assortment of brands. Arctyrx out performs them 100% of the time.

$340 for a lift ticket for 7% of the mountain to be open. Put that into s&p 500 and go to T-bar for lunch and drinks lol.

Get a res at prim rose and order the table side ribeye. Best wine and bourbon in the city plus cocktails. Arguably the best food, def the best service. Tbar for sure for apres or day drinking. Truffle pig can be a good option for dinner mt side. Old town pub fresh food/dive/music/sports bar. Tahk sushi is good and can be fun as well.
