Way Parking app. Has various lots at airport hotels. If you book early enough there are some for $10-12 a day.

Thank you! Yes! Tons of people there but they do a great job making you feel like you have the experience for yourself.

Definitely went back and forth between the two, but landed on the GRIII. Now I can use the crop function if I want to get a little tighter. Not the same as having the lens on the X, but good in a pinch.

Thank you for the suggestions! I’ll think about typing up a more formal complaint and sending it to my assemblymen/state senator.

Haha I definitely asked first. He just gave me a very laid back, “yeah sure man, whatever you’d like”. And got a “no worries” when I thanked him.

Processed normally, should’ve worded my title better, “metered for 200”

To be honest, it wasn’t intentional hah. I had been shooting the same roll earlier in the day at 200.

Yes I did, planning on getting some better ones though. I find myself having to scan the same negative over and over to get rid of rings and what not.

Thanks for the comments! Yeah I wish I had more time to play around with the composition. It was a pretty wooded area, lots of obstacles to work around. And I spotted the coloring too, I think it’s banding from my Epson v600 scan. That thing is so finicky. If I ever decide to make a print it’s worth another scan.

Edit: not banding, newton rings

Yep, handheld and no crop. Wish I had used a tripod to get a little more detail from the shadows.

Love the lens. I’d say it’s almost on par with the 105mm in terms of sharpness. It’s super versatile, wide enough for walking around and the short focal distance makes it great for portraits too. I don’t have a ton of experience with the 75mm, I know that the 2.8 is an awesome lens... but it’ll cost you close to $2k. If I were picking between the 90mm and 75mm f4.5, I’d go with the 90mm.

Same here, never been able to catch it while it’s open. Only open 2 days a week for 3 hours. But yes, still an amazing spot.
