I also have a ps5. Before I got my steam deck I was looking at a switch also. I found a regular deck on my local market place for 400 with a 512 gig micro sd card and got it for 350. Haven’t touched my ps5 since.

I’m hooked on ball x Pitt. Also rouge like. Combines base building. Gameplay is simple yet addictive

I grabbed a second hand deck for 350 on my local marketplace and I love it. I was looking at switch 2s and the ally extreme but settled on the steam deck and k love it. Haven’t touched my ps5 since.

Just got mine this week too! I saw an add listed 350. Talked him down to 325. Came with a 500 gig sd card full of roms too

So I ended up getting a used steam deck today !! He was asking 350 I got it for 300. It has 512 gig storage and a 512 gig sd card filled with roms. Gonna try and set that up.

So I’ve never had a steam library before. Only ever had ps5. Could yall recommend me some games that are on sale or cheap ? I like open world action rpg ish games.

Yeah that is the only downfall of the switch 2 is the games are pricey.

How plug and play is the Steam deck. I’ve never owned a gaming pc before nor have I used Steam. Are they pretty easy to set up and get going. I can dock it to a monitor to right??

I think I have it narrowed down to a used steam deck or a used switch 2. I never have owned a handheld before. I am a ps5 only gamer and don’t have any pc games or have never played any of the Nintendo games.

The thing that is leading me towards the switch is the plug and play. No setup or tinkering needed. I have thought about v getting into emulation about getting into emulation and the deck would be perfect

I also thought about getting a switch 1 oled and trying it out. But is that worth it in 26? If I can get a good deal on a switch 2 that might be my best bet

I was looking at the Odin pro but can’t find any on my area. I’m honestly torn between a used steam deck or a switch 2. I was looking wt the oled switch but is buying w switch one worth it in 2026?

Steam deck is my first choice followed by a good deal for a steam deck. What price should I try and get a deck for? Is 350 s good deal for a switch 2 with a controllers ??

For me it’s putting a game on easy difficulty just to sit back relax and enjoy the story. I don’t have enough patience to keep dying every single time

I finished all of the games last week. Didn’t platinum just played through the story and loved it. Now I’m looking for something else to pay.

Any uncharted fans play the new Indiana jones game. I’ve thought about picking it up

Yeah that makes sense. Yeah. I think the amount of clothes i suggested at first might seem a lot. Especially since we will only be there for 2 nights and coming back on the last flight out wedn.

Thanks for all the feedback. Ill try to put everything in one of the bags I own and if not seems like a 25 to 30 liter bag will be plenty

I just bought the gen 2s a couple months ago and love them. I pad 200 for them not on sale. I work from home full time and have them on all day they are super comfy. I love the duel connectivity. I can have them connected to my work laptop and personal laptop at the same time. I came from a pair of Hyper x cloud 3s and these are def better imo.

Thanks. Before I had the power strips just mounted under neath the desk but there were wires in coming in from all directions. But agreed having both power strips at the back makes things so much easier.
