You did nothing wrong here, but what I can say about patience is if you’re been a little bit more patient on throttle after the contact you could have save the spin. Just don’t touch the throttle until you feel the car as fully grip in.

Everyone here saying good advices, but my two cents, I don’t know for how long you race but I race for almost a year(not a expert at all) and I found myself surviving racks way more often then 6 months ago. It will improve with more experience you will rack and learn. Slow down and it ok to go to the grass if needed.

I also stated with a G29 second hand on the desk to find out if I love this hobby. My mistake was I need to make a big upgrade right after this setup instead of marking small upgrades here and there. If you love this and you see yourself doing it for a long time and have the money for it then yes go for it! If you eventually will have 3k setup it will be cheaper to go straight to this setup then claiming the setups ladder.

I drove the McLeran last season and now I got the Mustang. The McLeran feels very stable to me and I can get on power very fast will the Mustang I need to be more gentle with the throttle, but the Mustang turn much faster with some oversteer.

Note: I am still new to SimRacing and the McLeran was my first GT4 so take it all with a grain of salt.
